  1. As we say over here, I would not fxxxk that with Beatrice Arthur's cxxk.
  2. Thanks Saint Garret and Smirking Saint, as I said I was not sure about this and do not want to be accused of posting misinformation, that is no good to anyone.
  3. I have no idea as to how reliable this is, however, I just read on a forest forum that we will sign Tyson for 545,000 having had a 400,000 bid fail and that he will be wearing the No 8 shirt; I do not know how old this information is so please do not shoot the messanger.
  4. I remember that well, it was on the pitch at the dell after winning the FA Cup, it was a Ford Granada Ghia.
  5. Their are of course some names that should never go together, as shown below. Emma Royd Tess Tickle John Thomas Mia Bast'ard etc
  6. On the 21st January 2005 I became a Dad again at the age of 50, I named him after my Grandfather (Jack), however, my wife liked the name Ryan so we gave him that as his middle name; being a huge Clancy fan of course it worked for me, I just hope it works for him when he grows up.
  7. I agree, a transition with a few filling in the gaps is far better than trying to re-build with a lot of signings, look at Saints last season; it did take a while for all that to gel, not only that some of these signings are getting on a bit and will no doubt be more prone to pick up injuries, the dark horse out their for me anyway is Brighton; to under estimate Poyet would be folly.
  8. I am still LOL as I write.
  9. I have to agree with this post, to add though I did read yesterday that Beattie and another Stoke player did not travel with the team for their pre-season friendlies, so the door has been shown with any doubt.
  10. On a lighter note a charleton fan on 606 wrote, "you can't blame him (Richardson) for going to wealthy saints, look where they are going for pre-season, Switzerland, Charlton are going to Welling and A.F.C. Wimbledon, I did LOL at that one.

Yes Bridgey you are right, I started it before we signed Richardson today, so I will shut up, get me coat and go home, admin, please close this thread as it is now completley useless.

A very good point, I guess I am just being over concerned and probably down to being used too what you outlined. Thanks.

Like most of us I have a lot of faith in AP and NC, however, we do seem to be a bit slow in getting the players in that we will surely need in terms of cover for what is a long season. For example Poyet has been fairly active for Brighton and I reckon they will be a far better team this coming season, personally I rate Poyet highly and they could be a dark horse. I only hope and presume that AP has a game plan and everything will drop into place over the next two-three weeks, in terms of the players needed I agree with most of you that another right back and an additon in midfield is upper most; this midfield position (on the left side) though could be filled with Ryan Dickson, anyway your views on this would be appreciated, perhaps I am being a little paranoid, I don't know, all I know is that I want us back in the championship next season.
  16. I read that too, in fact Poyet seems to be fairly active in the transfer market, however, he needed to be I guess, I just hope A.P. can achieve his targets during the summer break.
  17. I think the problem is a lot bigger than just the manager, my own view is that a lot of the English players are not as good as they are craked up to be; they are surrounded in many cases by excellent foreign players which in turn of course prevent a lot of younger players breaking into the game, or if they do it is in lower leagues and thus takes them longer to show what they are capable of. Chris Waddle made a remark as well that a lot of talent is also coached out of English players, frankly I think we might as well pull out of international competition, the major clubs I am sure would rather it not their, especially with the amount of games they play all season; lets face it England ysterday looked lethargic at best.
  18. I have been thinking about this latest signing, do any of you think that A.P. may have other plans for him because of his pace? I.E. could A.P. use him on the left midfield so as to overlap and keep everyone happy.
  19. I agree completly, preferbably they stick them right up blunt end first; they should have been banned altogether, lets hope the English supporters band can be heard today.
  20. I just read that Charlie Austin may be looking leave Swindon, scored twenty goals last season after coming from non league Poole; a lot of you would have seen him last season and twenty goals is not bad.

    Jacksons Farm

That would make more sense to me, however, the cost of this would be a lot more than placing another tier on St. Mary's which was designed with that in mind, traffic and parking could be thought through such as a muti-storey car park next to the stadium for example with large numbers of exits and priority when exiting.

    Away Kit

Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought Exeter did as well?
  23. On a personal note I quite like that, I have never been a real fan of red and white stripes anyway to be honest; please someone correct me if I am wrong, but I think Saints have had better seasons without the stripes, like 83/84, again I stand to be corrected.
  24. You could have a good point their, it reminds me of the masochist who kept screaming at the sadist to beat him, the sadist takes a long drag on his fag, looks at him and say's.........................................NOoooooooooooo.
