As in Lee Barnard. Sounds like the majority are ok with the kick off time. I'm not cos I cant make it now, coaching my lads team and cant make a 12:30 k.o. The wife gave the thumbs up to Wycombe away though as a consolation. All the skates at work are so sure they will stuff us,personally I think them and their team will be happy with a draw and the extra revenue. Anyone fancy a night time trip down there?

Absolute quality Johnny:p -
I've had years of being told how great their fans and history are. For the most I have been very fair with them, but those crowd figures cracked me up. I shall make the most of it at work tomorrow. I take it you dont live, work or have grown up amongst them?

To round off a great day,we had 20K and the skates had 10K. At home on the same day and again we make them look naff. They always make out they are the big club but we all know the truth. RED ARMY!!

Good luck to Matt, will look out for his progress. I personally think Colchester at home was a key game for him. He missed 3 chances in the first half and I think AP subbed him after. Seem to remember AP commenting on the need for a finisher after that game and it kind of signalled the end for Matt.Hope he does well at Southend.

Waigo, inexcusable! chicken. Great double save from Kelvin. Well done to all those who went.

Cheers Genk, best to hear from someone who had the balls to go into the Den. Fun place isn't it? Safe journey.

Appreciate that,thankyou.

Has anyone parked near the ground before? The football grounds guide mentions street parking, but is that restricted to residents? It says there is one pay car park nearby.

Wow,you dont know what you've got till its gone eh? I shall raise a glass to the ruddy faced prat.

Mellis looked a neat and tidy player.Cant say more than that really. Jack Cork,Danny Guthrie and Chaplow are the loan players I've liked, they gave everything and looked as if they cared. Richard Wright did a great job too,was he a loanee?

Thats good news then,I think I heard it on Solent after the game, one of our great texters!

I think we might miss Morgan against Huddersfield,as Im told he will be suspended.

Cheers to Neil Trotman, good luck for the future.

Watching them on sky last night,it bought back bad memories. Being outclassed by the opposition. Home fans singing you f in ruined our club and wheres the money gone etc? 2 seasons after a cup final + europe, managers coming and going. The writings on the wall for the blue few,not so funny now is it skates?

Because I'm a Saints fan,I listened to my Dad and Grandads tales of ex-Saints and read about them too. I think its good to know your history.I never saw Terry Paine,Charlie Wayman,Ted Bates,John Sydenham and all but I know what they did for our club.I've made damn sure my kids know about Shilton and Keegan as well.

Agree with all mentioned,I will add one more,Lallana's curling effort in the league cup v Birmingham.

Really good interview/article on Steve Williams in the Pink. Some good little stories about life as an apprentice, having to deal with Ossie and Channon's jokes. He loved life as a youngster at the Dell. Wupert gets some stick over the Danny Wallace testimonial and the fact that legends of the past are not treated better by the club.He does not think someone like Lawrie should pay for a ticket. Outspoken as usual, but one of the best midfielders I've seen in a Saints shirt. One thing on these past player articles the Pink run, they never include a present day photo.I guess because the interviews aren't done face to face?

Was it an orange ball when Matty scored the hat trick v Liverpool at the Dell? I remember being at Bristol City in the snow when we won an orange ball match, courtesy of Mick Channon.

How could i have forgotten Bradley?! Doh!

Only seen him on the cricket pitch Tim,he's a very good batsman and a lovely lad too...always smiling.Very popular with us at Locks Heath. Who was the last double barrelled name player for Saints? Forbes Phillipson-Masters?

Moments you like to remember whilst bored...

Matty's free kick at West Ham in 3-3 draw under Bally. I was going through a really bad spell in my life and that goal was a huge lift and also put us on the way to safety.I was sat with some West Ham mates in their stand but still jumped up along with our 4000 fans.'He scores some ****in good goals'. Any of our goals against skates, manure,Liverpool, arsenal, spurs.Camara of course! Brett's Villa park header. Worst memories...Watford 7-1 and other cup humiliations.Semi Final defeats, last season. I sincerely think we will have some great memorable moments coming soon!
