I think you mean Barry from Fareham,he's a an old school West Ham fan. I know him from way back,he is an East end boy and was a bit handy back in the day. I heard Brazil cut him short the other day when he started spouting about the Millwall match and the 'good old days'.

Papa bottled out of an easy header chance from Hardings free kick in the first half. He just watched it flash across the goal and made no attempt. Harsh maybe, but it put me off the bloke.

Great post Landford. Nights like Tuesday are hard to take though! Saints till we die.
-
Maybe,but we only got a point,not 3.

Hated them and their bleedin song. The old cut throat gestures are wearing a bit thin now. Definetly going to their place for a revenge night.

AHA Well done to all concerned.Back of the net!

I dont get the dive thing. I was in the Northam and it looked a stupid challenge from the defender as it would have run out for a goal kick.Saga threw his head back to make sure, but you cant stick youre leg out like the defender did. Anyway Yeovil were pants and deserved nothing from the game.

Almost forgot, yesterday lunchtime I had to drive right past their dump of a ground and was yelling "you skate bar stewards" out the window. Its become an instinctive reaction in recent years and I'm 44. Is this role reversal? Are we turning into better smelling and looking versions of them 10 years ago?

Mike,Have you noticed how quiet they are around Locks Heath lately? Also I work in Skateland and no one talks football anymore!

Cant see anything wrong with a quick boo at the final whistle after dross like that. How else are we supposed to let them know that it was an unacceptable performance against 10 men? Please dont say we should have clapped. I know we are all grateful that we still have a club to support etc, but we are still paying out money to watch our beloved club NOT win matches.I dont know the stats, but we must have one of the poorest returns of any team in recent years.

I know what you mean Bailey, but my kids loved it when he was showboating for the camera. It was a nice bit of excitement before the main event. Boom boom boom everybody go Waigo Waigo.

Good shout. Has anyone seen Pulis play? I feel the need to slag him,but to be fair I've never seen him on the pitch.

The Thomson effort had me punching my own face!

Thought Hammond looked okay, decent midfielder in this league. Most of the genius creative and dynamic midfielders play in the premier league. Nothing wrong with any of Pardew's signings.

Oh please don't,you know what will happen! Just ignore the little git.

I sincerely hope no one on this forum subscribes to that tosh!

Northampton game inspired her to create that!! Fantastic, love to see what she would have created after one of our past wins against Man u,skates,Liverpool etc. Very gifted lady, any other Saints artists out there?

Remember when he first took over as England manager,a group of us spotted him in a motorway stop after an away game.He was trying to have a relaxing cuppa whilst listening to us urging him to pick Steve Williams. The thoughtful and good humoured way he spoke with us was brilliant.Steve did get his chance but Sir Bobby came so close to glory wih England. Top bloke and manager wherever he went.Rest In Peace.

Are you a real doctor or are you like DRE,Fox and Pepper? Oh, who cares, just get em relegated.

Wasn't my first season, but I still remember Oliver's Army (Elvis Costello for the young uns) on the happy trips back from Luton,Fulham and Orient 77-78 promotion finale.

They really are desperate if they sign a goalie who has had to retire due to injury. If they had a decent youth policy they might have been grooming an understudy to James. Antii will be returning to the scene of his worst game as a Saints keeper.Lets hope the jinx continues!

A skate mate of mine found himself in the surreal situation of being surrounded by Saints fans and joining in the good natured ribbing of a group of Sussex fans, some wearing skate shirts. He told me its their fault they were born in the wrong county! Loved Pothas's reaction when Yardy refused the runner. From that moment on there was only winner. What a day,now for the T20?

Yep,Johnny Ayling was right handed,I know cos I used to play in the same team as him before he made it.A fine player, cruelly plagued by injury. Great alcohol fuelled memories of that Edgbaston day Um.The Judge repeatedly smacking Donald for square fours.Scorching hot day too! The Hampshire boys in the grass skirts were quality entertainment too. Spoke to Mark Nicholas and Robin Smith some years later and they both picked out that day as a good one.

I saw Gasmi do that last season v forest. It was all he did in the 5 minutes he was on.God we've had some dross in recent years.

If thats the same one I went to then we won 1-0,just before Xmas! Channon scored and we all went home happy.
