I was told last night that they had little interest to begin with. Will be widely abused for posting that but it doesn't seem the most unlikely of scenarios. IMO we are massively weaker since Markus died.

Having been sat with some ex players tonight in hospitality, that is what one of them was convinced of. Absolutely certain of it but not sure myself. All this talk of multi million pound bids, are they just a smoke screen?

If we don't want to take a small gamble then we need to explore other avenues. Fannying about making joke bids for Hooper and Rhodes has done us no good at all and delayed getting players in that can actually give us strength in depth. I do question the effectiveness of our transfer policy. The reason we were so desperate for reinforcements in this window is because we didn't have the foresight to get in some strength in depth in the summer or even a loan or two subsequent to that.

Result wasn't the hard bit. The manner of the result was extremely concerning.

We have lost a lot of points through failing to strengthen the squad either in the summer or early January IMO. Leicester executed their game plan to perfection. Teams now realise that if they get in our faces and pressure us, we can't play our passing game and we have no answer. When we tried to hoof it, Guly failed to win a single header and the ball just came straight back at us. Our worst performance of the season by a fair way and pretty concerning if Adkins thinks we need no more strengthening. A few weeks ago he sounded determined to take advantage of the January window. I wonder what has changed?

If Adkins thinks we need no more signings then I question his judgement.

At the game in hospitality. If I didn't get it for free I would be considering this a total waste of money. We have been well and truly found out.
