Time you were banned really if that's your attitude. To suggest that his info gives the opposition an advantage is extremely ludicrous.

Only when you want a one sided debate.
-
Presumably you won't overreact if we lose then.

We wasted out time with Hooper.
-
I think that Puncheon said he was annoyed because Cortese wouldn't deal with it.

The best an most balanced post on here.

Halford and Magri please.

And it's inextricably linked as one economic entity. Not sure if it applied though since that wasn't the case when csi went into admin.

Find a quote from the guardian article yesterday.

Based on what evidence?

When was he a petulant w4nker? All I'm saying is that if he is not allowed to play for us and we refuse to sell him, then I understand his frustration. I don't know any details about the spat and neither does anyone else so calling him all manner of names is a bit unfair without knowing the facts to make an informed judgement.
-
From my point of view in not taking any side, I just don't think that either side are blameless in this.
-
Let's be honest, none of us know what went on that made him persona non grata so we can't make a judgement about which side has been unreasonable. If the rumours are true and we won't send him on loan or sell him for less than a million, then it may be unlikely that he will be anywhere else for the rest of the season. If I were puncheon and that was the situation then I would be pretty hacked off too because my career is basically being put on hold when all I would want to do is play.

Updated : Tadanari Lee Set to Sign
hypochondriac replied to Matthew Le Tissier's topic in The Saints
Why is anyone remotely interested about the exact time he signs? Adkins has said milwall so let's accept that. If he isn't here by then it's a different matter. -
Would be good to know exactly what went on before we all rush to call him scum. Not a great idea to make it public but possibly borne out of frustration if he isn't sold this window or allowed to play for us. That isn't ideal for any footballer.

Who is this week's mystery signing?
hypochondriac replied to Ivan Katalinic's 'tache's topic in The Saints
TBF if you gave us some detail like the position of the player then we would be able to tell if you were accurate or not if they do sign. -
There was no need to mention getting a major signing IMO. The way he said it implied to me that that was what we were after. Subsequent big money rumours of Hooper suggests that what he meant too. IMO there was no reason to mention it, it's not what we have done up until now with regards to transfer policy. I preferred our previous approach. With regards to your other point, see above for the outline as to why I believe we need another striker. Injuries to one or two will leave us woefully short as well.

He said we might make a big signing (or words to that effect if I remember correctly). I can't be bothered to go and find the exact quote. It doesn't change the point of my post, I didn't build myself up, I am taling about the fanbase in general. I just don't think it's the wisest thing to do. I'm perfectly chilled thanks. If we are to believe the various rumours about strikers, the management clearly agree with my assertion that another striker would improve our chances of promotion. Doing it without another striker is a fair bit of a risk and I would prefer us to strengthen further as otherwise we are relying on the fitness of Connolly.
-
I never denied that, I just feel that we really need a new striker in January. Seemingly the management agree if the rumours are to be believed. I still question the wisdom of Adkins referring to us possibly signing a very big name. Then when we inevitably fail to get the very big signing, it's a bit underwhelming.
-
It's very risky to gamble promotion on it. This guy from Fulham even on loan sounds quite good. I would go for something like that if we can't pull these other deals off.
-
Of course they shouldn't. I just question our transfer policy on the basis that we appear to be going for a few players that we had no chance of getting. Most people realised we wouldn't be getting Hooper as there was no chance that Celtic would sell their best player to an NPC club. J-Rod seems very unlikely also. Sordell we could get perhaps. I hope that we don't end up with no more strengthening up front. Clearly we want more reinforcements up there so if we don't get any that will be disappointing.

See no reason to change the stance here.

Won't happen as Burnley do not want to sell.
