That's not what I do.
-
Quite a few also called you Smug and infantile.

As I said, hindsight is a wonderful thing. If people were honest they were not expecting an amazing run like we had and I seriously doubt anyone was thinking that, certain Not immediately following a disappointing defeat.
-
So your issue is that I was not banned for the comments? I'm struggling to follow you here.
-
I agree with you alps. I think it says more about the reactions of the original poster ad his cronies than it does about posters who made a few ott comments after a game five months ago.
-
No it doesn't.
-
Exactly but it's totally pointless everyone makes comments which go over the top on occasion and in the heat of the moment. I'm just not as sad an hellbent on having smug point scoring posts as the original poster.
-
Which was a fantastic and unexpected run I agree.
-
But I have tries to explain to you that that wasn't my opinion. I've tried to explain to you the reasonings behind mine and other's posts on a post match reaction thread (ie immediately after a match has ended) but you seem to have difficulty understanding.
-
Seriously that is something like the eighth comment from you today discussing me. Am I really your favourite topic for discussion? Just put me on ignore of it bothers you so much.
-
Oddly enough, my positive comments receive no replies whilst my 'negative' ones receive several so it stands to reason that I will make a lot more simply because there is more to reply to.
-
What's with the constant baiting? I have explained myself enough times on this thread.
-
I hope you don't mean me? Seeing as time and time again prove that wrong by posting how pleased I am after a victory.
-
Following the Walsall game we had to go on a record breaking run of victories which we have never done in our history just to finish second. It wasn't expected and after that game it seemed more likely that we would miss put than not. Starting a thread linking to it following such an amazing run (and it was amazing) is idiotic and don't try to pretend that you thought that was going to happen after Walsall because it just didn't seem likely at all.
-
It's a comment on an Internet forum straight after a defeat which made automatic promotion that much more unlikely and meant we had to do something special to get there (which we did) that I said I didn't mean the next day! It's not like I got in a fight or anything, just let off steam on here and then said I was too harsh the next day.
-
If Adkins had not gone on that winning run and got us up automatically then in my eyes that would have been a failure and immediately after the poor result that scenario looked more likely than not. My frustration was borne out of my passion for my team and out of a real desire to succeed and see us do well. Ipswich away was one of the best away games I have been to and I was so happy during that so it's nice to see Adkins doing well.
-
You also have to remember that our situation at that time was very different to today. Automatic promotion looked like a long shot and only a record breaking run got us there. Anyone can look back with hindsight. Could anyone have foreseen the amount we won after this? I know I didnt and if you are honest you probably didn't either.
-
Nope plenty of things I am happy with. Training ground improvements, season ticket dinners, our style of football at the moment Ipswich away, cork signing, us taking arsenal to the cleaners to name but a few.
-
Cheers Alpine, I actually am.
-
Nope. I never did that. I must have posted about six times last night that I was specifically not passing judgement on him before he had played for saints. Everyone has an initial reaction about a player signing before they have seen them play.

Dragging up reactive comments immediately following a terribly crushing defeat which meant that we had to go on a record breaking run to get second makes it look like you are just being a smug w*nker trying to point score. It's not like I'm surprised but as you can see I have accepted that with hindsight (hindsight being the important word) those comments make me look stupid but then I did say as much the next day. And no most people weren't engaging in a civil discussion if you bother to look.

That particular defeat left me very angry because of its importance and our lack of a performance it's not after any old defeat. I was actually very positive after the recent Leicester loss and on numerous ocassions last year. I wasn't more than p*ssed off, I was perfectly fine the next day and posted on here saying I had been rash.
-
Agree with that too. Another look at me arent I clever smug proven right thread.
-
I have loads of fun being a fan but I reserve the right to feel disappointed and p*ssed off with the club too. Many are disappointed with last nights lack of activity in the transfer market. Is that a bad thing? Should they be hung drawn and quatered simply because you don't share that opinion? What am I meant to do, supress my feelings of disappointment along with quite a number of others on here? Are we only allowed to talk about theories and speculation which paint the club in a positive light? Of course there are going to be knee jerk negative comments after a crushing loss which made it look like the automatic promotion places were slipping away.

Fantastic! I want SFC to do well. I'm a supporter. In fact I wanted them to do well soo much that it actually p*ssed me off that we had a cr*p few results and with automatic promotion hopes seemingly fading, I made a some rash comments and let my emotion get the better of me. I'm sure that is something you have never done in your life.
