Only from the usual posters on here. Theuglyinside is largely abuse free because they can tolerate opinions which differ from their own. Similarly a large number on here are able to disagree and put their views rationally. OldNick, Franks Cousin and Minty are three such long standing posters who spring to mind. You would do well to take note of some of their behaviour.

I never twisted anything. You said he was one of the few with informed input on the subject. I assumed you meant that by extension, the majority of others were uninformed. Was simply pointing out that there is six pages of posters equally as informed as that poster. I didn't realise you meant just on this forum, though I can see how the ambiguity of your words may have caused me to make an error. I have been consistent in my views for most of the transfer window and our failure to get our top targets is disappointing and I have a right to that opinion.

The Celtic fan's positive comments on here are equally as informed as the six pages of comments on the Celtic forum, that was my only contention and why you felt the need not to answer what I said, I have no idea. My contention is with the comment that the positive comment from the Celtic fan on here is informed whilst the six pages from the other celtic fans ore uninformed. That's rubbish.

So they are as informed as our resident saints/celtic fan. What makes his opinion informed and theirs uninformed? I mean there is six pages of them to his one comment. I hope he is decent but to suggest that the one Celtic fan on here has an informed opinion whilst the six pages of Celtic fans on there are uninformed is quite clearly nonsense.

No, it's a fact. He isn't rated by Celtic fans at all clearly. That doesn't mean that people won't give him a chance. Heck, if he looks brilliant or even solid and better than what we have in his first few games I will say so, and I expect 99% of people will be the same way. It's just that on the surface it's not a very inspiring signing.

But we just sold AOC for 12 million quid and we have a reserve team CB to show for it when what we desperately needed was real quality next to Fonte to form a partnership. We also have no competition for Lambert who if he gets injured will leave a gaping hole in our squad with little on the bench to really change a game. Great start from the team but that makes it all the more infuriating that we haven't capitalised on it. Nice to see I am getting a bit less abuse than normal. I have been totally consistent throughout the window, a quality permanent CB and optionally a striker was what was needed and for whatever reason, if we are honest with ourselves we haven't delivered in the market in that area. I think some people are starting to come round to other ways of thinking. Wait till the end of the window was the cry, well I have waited and frankly I'm underwhelmed. I just don't think Nigel is a big enough draw frankly coupled with our negotiating skills.

Then why have other managers been able to sign half decent players? Not all of them are throwing around money like confetti like West Ham and Leicester.

But we have been told all summer that bids for Sharp etc indicates that we do have money. Either we don't have money and put in stupid bids for players for show or we do have money and have dicked a load of players around and been rejected by the majority meaning we have to settle for Celtic's fourth choice CB which on the face of it doesn't sound very good at all. The usual people will spin this and call posters like me all names under the sun but after all the speculation and bids going in only to be rejected, it's a big big disappointment.

Also linked with all manner of strikers as well as being knocked back by many so clearly failed there. Very disappointed TBH and what started as a promising window has gone downhill.

Not much point giving my opinion on here as will just receive torrents of abuse from the usual suspects. Clearly the backup option judging by Adkin's comments.

Steve with respect, this isn't the first, second, third fourth or fifth time this has been brought up in the last three years and each time there has been reassurances that you would be moving to a new super duper service which would sort all problems.
