  1. Excellent result that calms some nerves. Let's not make the mistake though of thinking we don't need to strengthen due to one brilliant result. I am encouraged though and sounded like our backup options really took their chances.
  2. I don't think the evidence suggests that to be the case. We would not make a financial plan based on selling a youth team player to cover losses from the previous year. No professional organisation does that as there are too many intangibles and things that could have gone wrong and neither would we. On top of which, we stated we wanted to keep Chamberlin suggesting that there was no need to sell to cover losses.
  3. Not really worth discussing until we actually do spend this sort of money. Having said that, if we do spend the money then I would argue that yes we can afford it because we sold Chamberlin for 15 million.
  4. Hmm didn't realise that. Probably not true then.
  5. If he is going there do you know if anyone is going the other way?
  6. No way will they sell now. Not in their interest. If he hands in a transfer request then that's a different matter but I can't see it.
  7. He always does that with every rumour. He hasn't had a PM.
  8. Oh dear... Bye Turkish.
  9. Why does it matter? Every window people post a lot about people who may or may not sign. Every single window you get a load of posters filling those threads laughing about the length.
  10. So who else apart from Chaplow and Fonte?
  11. Working fine on my iphone.
  12. TBF you quite often express your opinion in an overly aggressive manner, often when you have been replied to in a civil manner.
  13. Who is the 'crocked lot?' Connolly and Chaplow?
  14. And I was just saying that when we made those seven million pound losses, I very much doubt we made them n the knowledge that we would be covering them through the sale of a 15 million pound youngster.
  15. According to who?
  16. I very much doubt that when we made those losses we factored in the 15 million pound sale of a youth player to our financial plan.
  17. I think you are reading too much into it. That's not how it came across to me at all.
  18. Who mentioned over one year? The question was how much is promotion worth. Clearly it is worth a hell of a lot more than 35 million which was the point.
  19. Pathetic trying to tell me what I did and did not mean when you have been proven wrong. If you misunderstood me then fair enough but I always believed what mlg said. Ask him yourself, I don't agree with him lightly.
  20. You can change the defending back to the original in the settings. Personally I prefer this defending now anyway. It's fine once you get used to it.
  21. Is promotion worth 90 million to a club or not? (disregarding what you subsequently spend that money on or any clauses you have in player contracts- a choice of the individual club.)
  22. DPS: Fancy trying to explain what you meant? If you get relegated then it's 90 million including parachute payments, if not then it's worth more than 90 million! Being non-abusive would be a bonus too.
  23. What does he say?
  24. In a nutshell. That is the answer. What we choose to do with that (be it put the standard wage increase clause in our player contracts or whatever) is entirely our choice but in terms of revenue, that breaks it down nicely.
  25. Can't believe I am agreeing with MLG over this. It's seems quite obvious to me!
