Anyway good news, he has really stepped up this year and is probably our most improved player so far. Had my doubts but he is proving a lot of people wrong and fair play to him.

Yes I agree and it's the main reason that I really feel we need a CB who has that position nailed on like Fonte does. Could it be Jos? Maybe, but as you say he has his weak points and may be too early to tell.

Can't say he's ever been my favourite player and I'm surprised he wasn't sold in the summer. How did Jos do? Sounded pretty solid and hope he continues his progress. Also hope he is OK for Saturday though it sounds like Martin could do a job if needed.

I think it's much too early to say either way. At the moment we are scoring for fun but down the line we could have a period where we create less, especially if someone gets an injury. I would like to see another option off the bench or pushing for a starting place.
