I got a text from my friend on 52 minutes. 'Worst first half in ages. Missing pace terribly. Rubbish performance.'
-
Hope he can be a little bit more like that in future. It's nice to hear an honest reaction rather than the same thing game after game.
-
He hadn't done a lot until today but has made a big impact this afternoon clearly. Brilliant.
-
It was a much better post match interview than he normally does tbf.

Whisper it quietly but if we win our games in hand and you lose before you play us... Unlikely but stranger things have happened
-
Problem now is that I have raised my hopes slightly and started looking at the championship table. Watch us lose loads now and fail to win promotion and p*ss me off. Going to enjoy that excellent victory tonight though. Great character shown by the lads. Barnard is a hero.

On 52 minutes everyone was annoyed and commenting on the immediate situation. Up to that point it was a pathetic performance and it was right to say so.

Lungs, you are going to love this link. I like Jewell a bit more... http://www.greenun24.co.uk/ipswich-town/how_portsmouth_have_money_to_sign_norris_is_anybody_s_guess_jewell_1_848908 IPSWICH Town manager Paul Jewell has been left shaking his head at the ability of Portsmouth to offer a highly lucrative deal to his skipper David Norris. But Jewell says that if the midfielder goes in the summer on a free transfer to Fratton Park, Ipswich Town will survive without Norris and that Norris will survive without Ipswich Town. Norris, who is expected to lead Town in their Championship game at Turf Moor against Burnley today (kick-off 3pm), has indicated to Jewell that he would like to stay put – and talks are still taking place. Norris is available on a free transfer because Town failed to agree a contract extension so Pompey will be able to spread much of the transfer fee they would have paid to the player over the course of his contract. But it will still be substantial money for a club that was on the brink of folding because of their serious financial position last summer and Jewell said: “Portsmouth probably haven’t paid their bills. “But seriously how they had the money to pay for the arrival of Liam Lawrence and Dave Kitson and pay the wages of some of their other players is anybody’s guess. “It must be the parachute payments they receive after relegation from the Premier League, and this makes a huge difference when you are trying to make an impact in the Championship.”

WHEN we get promoted, this will be the game we look back on. Fantastic result and I am so so pleased tonight with the character we showed. Starting to believe...

Embarrassing. Another example of us playing poorly and losing. Very very disappointing. -
No point really. You get the same people insisting that Adkins is better whilst shouting down those who dare to suggest that Pardew was a lot better

If the result stays like this then it's just another example of our inconsistency. We will be in a poor position and Huddersfield will be favourites for second. -
Wish I had the money. If only it was in June.

Cant stand dogs so really not fussed. -
Brighton have in many ways been worse than Bournemouth. I would prefer the cherries to do well over Brighton.
