TDD I can see the thinking of Cortese, I just don't like the way it has been implemented and how fans have been shown so little respect.
-
The bad bunch being football club administrations/chairmans. It's irrelevent anyway, I could have just as easily have said, SFC may have a better administration in charge than most clubs, but that does not mean that there aren't big areas for improvement. If there is no fans forum then I shall be writing to both the club and the echo to highlight my concerns. I believe a group of fans (including mods on here) met last week to see if something could be sorted out. I am not sure of the conclusions. There is also rumours that Cortese was influenced to backtrack somewhat over sacking Pardew (you will no doubt dismiss this point but whatever.) Having fans be aware of what is going on and expressing displeasure at certain decisions means that the club are less likely to continually try their luck to see what they can get away with. The alternative is just sitting back, doing nothing and accepting whatever the club decides to do and I'm not prepared to do that.
-
Sorry am not prepared to elaborate on here. There have been rumours of law suits against some fans and the Echo.
-
Well someone has changed it!
-
But being the best of a bad bunch does not mean that we should not highlight problems and issues within the administration and that we should not press the club for answers and to improve its relationship with the fans wherever possible.
-
That's fine TDD but for others that is not the only thing they care about. Rumours of law suits is worrying, as is decisions being made with no explanation IMO. If there is a decision taken which negatively affects you then do you not think the least you deserve is an explanation? I imagine that it wouldn't bother you but you must concede that it bothers a great many saints fans, enough to make it a real problem I would say.

Certainly recent signs are not encouraging Andy.

Who other than Dune on this thread has moaned about the membership?
-
What a pathetic assumption. If the membership is reasonable and consistent with the cost of past membership schemes then I will have no problem. I don't look for problems for the sake of it, I simply comment on each individual issue.
-
It is impossible to suggest a reasonable price without any knowledge of what the membership will entitle you to. Not sure why I'm even responding to you.
-
Agreed. With regards to price I shall wait and see what the club are proposing before passing comment.

djharvey is a mong and clearly retarded.

And if there is not a fans forum? How would your feelings be then? -
Shutup djharvey. You can search for the reasons, there are many which have aready been posted.
-
I am happy for memberships to be introduced. Depends on the price though.
-
My views is that season ticket holders should be made to feel valued and wanted by the club. I'm not sure they are so much this season which IMO is a shame.

amazing the amount of people who come on this thread only to say they have no interest in it. Amazing. -
but that wasn't what alpine said in his original post. Would I laugh at alpine if saints are awful in a game or two next year? Of course not. What about the croatia performances? It is a ridiculous statement to make on the strength of 2 poor games
-
Lol at Alpine thinking that despite England playing badly that SFC are better than them.
-
Have hated Rooney for ages and said so a couple of months back only to be shouted down on here. Utter w*nker who is removed from reality. Was one of if not the worst England player tonight. If we don't play Joe Cole against Slovenia then I give up.

Nice to see a growing number who recognise the contempt shown by the club towards the fans. -
Totally agree.

He needed 25% against.

That really is the key point to it all. If these decisions which I disagree with were explained then I doubt I would have much of an issue. -
So basically the lesson for other clubs is if you owe HMRC 10 million, make sure to increase all other debts to over 40 million and you can get a CVA passed with no points deduction. Cheats.
