Boring. People have expressed this opinion hundreds of times already and we don't need another thread about it. Cortese has p*ssed off a load of saints fans and however you feel that is the case. Hopefully some compromise can be reached in order to bring back the feelgood factor for those who feel disenfranchised by this.

Nothing is going to be changed if people just blindly accept everything because they are grateful to Nicola. We aren't even aware if NC knows the depth of feeling that the fans have about this issue. I will be bringing it up at the fans forum unless someone else does.

Again, is it not possible to be grateful for everything Markus has done yet question decisions/criticise when it is felt necessary? Even if you disagree, it is clear that for many saints fans this is a big deal so surely the best thing is to negotiate some sort of compromise.

I would have thought that retaining the core supporter base would be pretty much the number one priority for a football club.

Even a ten percent drop is poor. The club should be doing everything it can to make it easy for fans to renew or buy a season ticket. Especially in the club's 125th year.

I think most people's issue is that they really think they deserved more notice that installments were being taken away. Especially since it was in the supporters charter and so most people would assume it would be the same for this year. What is unreasonable about that?

Read my original post on this thread. I reckon it's pretty balanced TBH and as I said, I've defended NC in the past. I'm not sure why people get attacked purely for raising reservations about certain decisions. The post you replied to was lighthearted. If Marcus went mental then sure he would probably get some criticism but he is the one who saved the club.
