From Stu: Give this 'open letter' to him. It will not be a Ted Bates Trophy match. It will be a Ted Bates Memorial Day, on the weekend of his birthday ( provisional date ) , first weekend in May. A chance to raise money for charity, and remember Mr Southampton. A match involving the forums and ex-Saints players will be just one of a number of events through the day and evening.

The club not giving an explanation is an entirely separate issue to whether Nick did or did not give an explanation.
