Not at all. There is a serious discussion to be had. He has saved us numerous times this year, is the best centre back in the league, probably one of the best in the league above and I really hope he wins player of the season for his efforts. Do you agree?

Not sure what Smirking has said above, but no doubt trying to derail the thread. I think most would agree that this thread would be more productive if we returned to how great our CB is.

It's not silly. He is a hero of a man and you can see why the Palace fans love him. He oozes class and he is ours.

On Jose Fonte. So much flair, so much style, such cultured passing and he does it all with such perfectly greased back hair. Scores class goals for a centre back and is trashing all in the saintsweb player of the season poll. Going to be absolutely class with us into the premiership and beyond. What a guy. What is there not to love? :adore:

I do think it is noticeable that Rickie has scored and attempted much less long range shots and fierce drives this year which in my opinion has made him look slightly worse

What a good post. If he gets us up well done to him for achieving what he was brought in to do. Next season is a different proposition entirely.

Couple more reasons to enjoy my snooker

Derby- Because they acted like tw*ts in the playoffs and we confidently predicted they would go down that season with a record low points total. We were right .

Brighton- Because our manager made a flippant remark five months ago. And something about a conspiracy from the seventies.

Personally I think that advert is disgusting. It's not influencing my vote either way however.

Exactly. It isn't arrogance, you only have to look at the facts of longest time in the top flight, quality of players, trophies won and success achieved without cheating, fanbase, average attendance etc to see it.

Yep. We have certainly improved this second half of the season. Overall if we finish in second I will grade this season a B+.

Have to admit, hadn't been to a game for a little while and I was impressed with our performance yesterday. I think I have an unhealthy love for Fonte. By far my favourite player, he is just sooo classy.

I think the other clubs are so angry because deep down, we know and they know that we are by far the biggest club on the south coast and that we always will be for the forseeable future. Both Brighton and Bournemouth are desperate for some sort of validation.

It is fun feeling superior as the other south coast clubs look up to us.
