  1. I have a bewb shaped hole in my heart for those days.
  2. When journalists interview him, they were told not to let it be known that they supported Southampton because it irritated him.
  3. I know a journalist who speaks to him regularly. I would be very surprised if he comes here.
  4. Probably his wife.
  5. He was with an attractive blonde lady. Much taller than him though!
  6. How funny. I noticed the opposite. Of course there is likely to be less concern expressed because the initial shock is what gets people's backs up so much. I imagine people have expressed their (largely negative) views about this and have nothing else to say until we see what quality of manager is coming in. That is the sensible cause of action to take. Most have strongly criticised NC for this and other policies but with the caveat that if we can attract a better manager then fair enough.
  7. Couldn't agree more. Excellent post.
  8. He has regularly slagged Southampton off and said he would never join us (I was there.) He won't come here.
  9. As if people would not want MON here! He won't come but if he did it would be amazing. Absolutely amazing.
  10. fantastic understanding and empathy. What a perfect solution
  11. in West Quay now
  12. Oh do quiet down. If you bother to read the rest of my posts on this thread I have not 'judged' him. I have given my analysis of him from this game.
  13. My mate despises Phil Brown. If we get him I'm going to drive to his house before he knows and turn on SSN just to see his reaction!
  14. Almost every post is off topic. Humorous posts are fine, but not when you are never serious with any post.
  15. Still an extremely poor attendance for us. I really think we should adjust our pricing policy. We would have got loads more in had we done so.
  16. In fairness I can't recall that bit. I was paying close attention to him for most of the evening and with my mate we discussed what he had just done every time he got the ball. I think there were maybe 2 good things in the 2nd half when he won two corners. Virtually everything else that I remember was head in hands or chuckling to yourself stuff. I genuinely think he was really bad and one of if not our worst player on the pitch. Having said that he was playing out of position and it is early days. I hope he improves!
  17. The poor attendance was due IMO to the pricing structure, the fact it was midweek and the Pardew thing (oh and the fact it was the JPT.) I think we have a very p*ssed off fanbase right now.
  18. Amazing how wildly opinions can vary about players.
  19. Puncheon seemed a lot better than Guly. Are you sure you weren't getting confused between the two?
  20. Also he seemed really lazy. No desire to run or chase the ball. I hope he improves.
  21. So better than Guly I never said they were good, just better than Guly.
  22. Most of the team were awful last night but for me he was the 2nd worst players behind Jaidi. 75% of the time he gave the ball away or it went out of play. So people better than him last night: Davis, Butterfield, Fonte, Harding, Dickson, Chamberlin, Hammond, Schneiderlin, Barnard On second thoughts I'll give you Lambert who was equally poor.
  23. Wow. Just wow. I mean he was played out of position but to actually say he was one of our best players last night... Words fail me.
  24. Maybe the Martin thing has some sort of substance? (I know people close to him on here say it is untrue.)
  25. Nope you are wrong. They were affected by Pardew's sacking (and Fonte was our best player not Barnard with Chamberlin not far behind.)
