Either you want no rumours whatsoever or you want info which can be passed on but without breaking confidences. I know what I prefer and I suggest if people just want the former that they leave "rumour" threads well alone.

Perhaps the source is happy for the info to be released but not for his or her identity to be known? Just a thought.

Thanks spudgun. Just suppose I had spoken to the pitch announcer who had told me about this. I can't prove that to anyone on here but I can pass on in good faith something which I know to be true because it came from an impeccable source. I'm not saying that happened BTW but that is the sort of thing.

If they win tomorrow then they will look to get it off ASAP and they will put pressure on through the media and via capable people like Lampitt. They will succeed IMO but as they have no money anyway I expect they will most likely get loans in (probably those decent players in from Spurs).
