  1. After the Tranmere game my mate was going on and on about how great we were. I maintained the whole time that it was because Tranmere were so awful rather than us being good. It is worrying that we can't ever put in a really dominant performance.
  2. That's why I said he wasn't entirely responsible. Obviously he must take some blame but it does seem odd that there was a big attitude change with Pardew during pre-season with lots of people saying he knew it was just a matter of time before he was sacked.
  3. No way do I want him out, I just haven't been too impressed with our performances under him as of yet. We don't look like automatic promotion candidates.
  4. You are right I wasn't really. I don't think Pardew was entirely responsible for the poor start this year though. People won't like to hear it but if we don't get promoted this year it will be because of our start and that's Nicola's fault.
  5. Considering our squad and where we were meant to be at the start of the season, I don't think that's good enough.
  6. Totally agree mate. We haven't really dominated a game under Adkins that I have seen.
  7. He wasn't left back of the season, and Harding is a decent player. Everyone has bad games now and again.
  8. I think the performances have been nowhere near as good as last season. I hope things pick up soon.
  9. No doubt that is the case but he is always on the treatment table.
  10. Really cr*p forum performance again guys.
  11. You still won't convince me that win percentage is the best factor to judge managerial ability
  12. I learnt my lesson last week but this really could use a brass eye quote...
  13. As a nursery owner, words fail me.
  14. I'll let you off if you're agreeing with me.
  15. Fact is though, you can bet your life that most managers in the Prem this year will have a higher win percentage than the person who finishes 17th. Now if that is someone like Blackpool then that is a remarkable achievement which in my opinion take more managerial skill than say someone like Villa finishing ninth.
  16. Thanks for posting leftback. You may not make a load of sense sometimes, but your information is interesting nonetheless. Keep it up.
  17. Yep. Agree with that.
  18. Seems odd to take him on then.
  19. Odd that he left us then. Maybe we just didn't play him enough?
  20. Care to share any of the details?
  21. Hodgson is good though. Don't let the numpty Scousers cloud your judgement
  22. But then amount of wins is in no way a sign of managerial ability.
  23. I agree. To pretend it was some kind of generous donation because of how deeply Cortese felt about the history of SFC is absurd. No problem with it by the way and actually think it was a good idea, just don't pretend it was something it's not.
  24. Not really. There are obvious reasons for that too but I can't be bothered to go into it again as it has been done to death so will leave it there.
