If you read the manifesto, his early years policy isn't bad. It's just it took them too long to actually decide on one!

Take it from me. Early years policy is better under Labour than it was under the Tories.

I'm voting Tory but the Labour early years scheme has been really good. Too much red tape but other than that it has worked well.

They are. The sure start scheme was a very good idea. Up until 2 weeks ago the Tories did not have a policy for early years. Having said that I'm still voting Tories. Nursery education will still do well under a Conservative budget and perhaps even better (they allow nursery practitioners to charge top up fees ).

IMO Cameron is winning. Clegg not doing very well on this one.

Apparently they now have until June to reach a consensus. No one will buy pompey until before then if they don't know if they are going to get the 16 million or not. How can they give a CVA proposal until after then if they don't know how much parachute money they are going to get?

Even if the talks have been delayed, it's less money that any owners can count on as guaranteed. It makes a HUGE difference for them but if they don't know if they are going to get it for a while, who is going to buy them?

When I was scrolling down the page I was waiting for your defence! Not all of us are applying to be PM though are we! I also don't buy the defence that the others do it just they haven't been caught. Brown is a fool.
