  1. Not at all, but I would imagine he or MLT has spoken to WGS recently. I would hope that Gordon has been persuaded by the new owners but as yet I can't see it and I think we are setting ourselves up for big disappointment.
  2. Lynam said to me via pm that wgs would not be coming unless he had had a big change of heart because he wants to spend time with his family.
  3. TBF I had a big argument with a friend of mine who knows Tony Lynam and is adament that the guy had a proper backer. He won't tell me who it is though after I posted the last info he had on here!
  4. Please let as know as soon as you find out!
  5. If they chose Adams over Strachan then they are mental.
  6. I get it perfectly. The fact is we are a fantastic opportunity for a manager. It's the same reason that we will become people's favourite club to manage on football manager. Bit of a challenge first season but expectations significantly lowered (so even upper mid table will still feel fairly positive and everyone will gear up for the big push next season.) By far the richest club in league one and hopefully with significant funds (for this level) to be able to build the team how they want. If it is also part of a five year plan, I would imagine it would be very attractive and is the same reason that Kelvin stayed. He wants to be part of the start of the revival of our club. If WGS came here then promotion would be significantly easier to achieve than at many other clubs and if he was successful he could massively enhance his already impressive CV. The type of man we are looking for is one who doesn't see the negatives but who is excited by the challenge and can see the obvious long term benefits both to themselves and to the club. If I was WGS or the other candidates I would want the job.
  7. Having said that I prefer looking at oddschecker because that makes me calmer!
  8. That one is incorrect. I believe it did that before and then corrected itself later.
  9. He isn't that's what oddschecker says. Try this one: http://www.skybet.com/skybet?action=GoEvType&id=10002896
  10. Keegan should be list A.
  11. Yesss. Strachan favourite again and Adams dropping!
  12. Fiver, Jack Boyle.
  13. I would be disappointed if we got Wise. Really don't want him.
  14. It also does not fit with anything they have been saying. I think it was a joke...
  15. Yep. I thought it was funny but definitely the most offensive film I've seen at the cinema!
  16. Unfortunately it was so long ago I can't remember! All I remember was it was in a thread on the main board with Arsenal in the title. Last time I had this conversation the poster involved said it was them. We shall see!
  17. Cheers. The reason I've kept it up so long is because it sums up some people on the forum in my opinion.
  18. Because it was a ludicrous post and I wanted to record it in my location for posterity.
  19. Yes I was fully aware. It has also been pointed out to me on at least 4 separate occasions. I have kept the original quote as I feel it adds to the absurdity of the statement.
  20. Not sure you can talk boy
  21. If you read it, it is in quotation marks. It is an EXACT quote that I copied and pasted directly from a post off here. Now who looks foolish?
  22. In fairness I have no idea what or who Duncan's source is. It certainly isn't the first time he has made a prediction which hasn't happened. IF it happens then fair play and I hope it does but if not we have a massive thread on our main board praising the fact that the PFC takeover has collapsed which will look really really sad if it goes through.
  23. If they don't then fair play. It's quite a big rumour to post about though. Any rate, I hope your original post was correct.
  24. I respectfully disagree.
  25. Tbf I believe patred has been right in the past?
