  1. Don't make a fool of yourself. Alpine would be the first person to jump on someone when they are wrong. It's not even a matter of opinion about right or wrong. H has said something and then denied it. Anyone with any sort of decency would apologise. So come on Alps.
  2. I was simply hoping he would apologise for his obvious error. I see he still hasn't answered.
  3. Anything to say alps?
  4. I beg to differ my friend... Feel free to apologise for your error.
  5. Agree but surely it is wrong to dismiss a performance as awful based on the result alone
  6. A much more balanced reaction. You see this is a sensible way to look at things, not "we were crap" which is ascertained purely by looking at the result.
  7. So according to alps you can only ever play well if you win? Drawing against the team 2nd in the league when we are down the bottom is a good result. It doesnt make our unacceptable results any better but equally those dont make this a crap performance. Add to that people were predicting a heavy loss and the four straight losses coming into the game and I was pleasantly surprised to get something. We won't agree alps and you will most likely call me deluded but that is how I see things. Our season has been awful but this a good result when considering the calibure of opposition and our previous run of form
  8. Would you rather that our reaction to this game is that we were ****e?
  9. Why is it delusional to say we played well today?
  10. You missed out Baj. It was a good game.
  11. Are we counting fa cup games?
  12. Do you have any proof that Leon did not have an idea? It's just that Crouch didn't make it public, spouting off about revolutionary new methods and how different his idea was.
  13. I wanted Billy Davies. He was exactly what we needed.
  14. Erm. I think you'll find that was Hone and Hoos' doing.
  15. Well done for taking it like a good sport. I won't rub it in too much
  16. Tony Adams?
  17. Cough cough. I predict Pompey will be 14th by tomorrow!
  18. Is it still too early to say I told you so?
  19. I would disagree with that. It's a bit sad to care that much IMO.
  20. Exactly. It's not just Pompey though, I like to see Derby lose and Bournemouth as well as hoping for wins for Villa, Hull and Brighton. Is that a bad thing?
  21. No problem with taking some pleasure in watching them lose. Doesn't make you care about saints less.
  22. Again we have no idea. The signs from the end of last season showed that we appeared to be turning the corner. As I have previously said, team spirit and grit can go a long way in this division. Pearson would have received full support and backing from the fans, something which I believe to be important (morale was high at the start of the season when we played our best football.) Pearson is also top of the league with Leicester. You simply have no idea what you are talking about and state opinion as fact.
  23. No improvement over DMG and Robertson? Are you having a laugh?
  24. Unbelievable that you would promote Lowe's way of utilising the youth as our only way. We have brought in the likes of Pulis, Smith, Schneiderlin, Holmes, Robertson and Perkhart and prioritised them over other signings because of their youth. Could we not have bought in other players, perhaps older ones? Could this not have changed the position we are in? Could we not have kept our british manager who knew this league?
