  1. Very true. If he didn't wat to apologise then the family would have made him.
  2. You could but you would be wrong. They were ****e penalties.
  3. But more than hating Him I hate the press around him who act like he is some sort of football genius. I had to lugh at his latest quote. The biggest tool in football and it's getting to the point where I would prefer them to go down more than the skates (with skates next year.) http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/7823184.stm Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp was highly critical of his players after seeing them lose 1-0 at Wigan. "At the moment we have some players who cost this football club a lot of money and they need to be better for the team," said Redknapp. "They are supposed to be quality players - and they have got to show that on the football pitch. "If you look at our results - two points from eight games - it cannot always be the manager's fault, can it?":mad::mad::mad::mad:
  4. As someone else has pointed out, this is actually a very funny comment. After the last game you said: And now we have won so by your logic we must have been fantastic yet you are criticising the performance! You can't have it both ways Alps!
  5. I see blackstock is up there. Always said it was a mistake to let him go
  6. He never got a consistent run out. Look back at the stats written many times by Arizona which proves that we won a higher percentage of games when Saga played and also that Stern John scored a lot more goals when partnered by Saga.
  7. Our team tends to score more goals when Saga is in it. That's what matters to me.
  8. You sure? A season is not 2 games long. If we lose the next game we still have a good chance of staying up.
  9. We could definitely do with a decent defensive midfielder to partner Schneiderlin.
  10. I had a phone conversation with Tijuana Tim this week. In many ways it has reignited my passion for this great club. He's really right about not letting all the rubbish affect our support. When we are losing we should shout louder. Booing won't help anything and it's the same with the Lowe situation. We obviously aren't going to get rid of him any time soon so lets be constructive and do our best under difficult circumstances. That's what I'm going to do anyway.
  11. Maybe so but then it has been pretty successful away. Maybe a more traditional formation is required at home.
  12. DMG plays much better in the hole and is useless as the lone striker. Just as I don't care how we play as long as we win, I don't care how DMG plays as long as he scores.
  13. In 20 years time Lowe will be a distant memory and the club will still be here in some form.
  14. All I know is that Saga played and we won!
  15. Maybe for you but I still feel the spirit of Southampton in a lot of things. Most definitely when I ring fellow fans and hear of their passion for the team and everything about it.
  16. My new years resolution is to be become a positive person! I'm not suggesting that we will go on any sort of run but I'm not going to predict that we are certain relegation candidates after every loss. As somebody else has said today, we aren't as bad as some people on here would have you believe. If we are going to go down anyway, we may as well go down supporting as much as we can. At least if I take the positives from this game instead of focussing on the negatives then I can have a bloody cheerful week before Saturday.
  17. I'm liking these positive threads. The spirit of Southampton will never die whilst its true supporters still support in the same way they have done for years. Things may well get worse but eventually things will improve and we will get back to where we belong.
  18. Um I am fully aware of our form this season. I also understand that much of it is cause by playing a bunch of kids in the division. I don't really think you can deny that many on here are eager to criticise and write off our chances against every team week in week out.
  19. Love you too xxx
  20. I don't consider a win to be a false dawn. I recognise we could well lose next week and play terribly because we are badly inconsistent. The key is to get enough wins to survive! Anyway lets hope for the best next week. COYR
  21. I think you need to reread some prediction threads from a couple of months back when we actually looked quite comfortable. Many many people predict humiliating defeats every week. It's the defeatist attitude that I object to. When we lose we are billed as certain for relegation yet when we win it's just one win and "it will count for nothing if we lose next week" (of course it counts for something, a good result isn't cancelled out just because we get a bad result the following week!) FS some people were suggesting it would be a good thing to go into admin and take the ten point deduction as we were already down!
  22. Not 2 months ago we weren't...
  23. But then after every single loss this season it's been the end of the world for many. Lets just enjoy the win today! It gives me more hope that we can win next week and pull clear.
  24. I agree but it will be nice to concentrate on the positives for once. Some people seem to give up before the game has even started. I would pont to games like both the Reading ones and Sheffield United away where many predicted we would get killed. Perhaps one of the best things about watching the team is you never know how it's going to go!
