That's fine as long as he doesn't play a key player here and then not stary him on Saturday with the reason being that he needs a rest from midweek which is what he did during the last round.
-
You'd be better off caring less about a league Cup game and just treating it as a good chance to see some promising glimpses from some players and taking the positives regardless of the result. It's a lot more enjoyable that way.
-
I certainly wouldn't be bringing on Dibling if he was tired with cramp on Saturday. We need him at the weekend.
-
Because this game doesn't really matter and we need to play him to hope he maybe gets a goal and it increases his confidence?
-
Fraser looks good today. I'm glad we have him this year, I think we need his fighting spirit.
-
Atmosphere mostly crap here. Birmingham Wrexham last night sounded incredible by comparison.
-
Indeed but there's more than two choices! I'm not sure why Martin believes this is the correct way to play football. It's crap.
-
And he's proud of it too! Even when it works it's a shocking watch.
-
I felt a level of concern during that preseason game where he was shocking.
-
A pretty frustrating half that is similar to a lot of our games this year. Loads and loads of possession and very little to show for it.
-
Wood is such a limited player. Typical championship.
-
If we're getting limited time from a 36 year old Lallana, I don't see the benefit in playing him in a nothing game like this. Would much rather give him 60 minutes against Ipswich alongside Dibling.
-
That's all speculation. A top man manager would get the player to understand he's here until January and if he performs well until then he can go to a top team for big money.
-
And even in that short cameo he was the best cb in that game. Seems an odd move not to try him.
-
Well he played in the last round so what harm would there have been giving him a chance a half in this game to see if he's up to it? If he's better than our other cb options then he should play.
-
Agreed but I'm not qualified as a judge to make those judgements. Apparently other factors were to do with how his dad treated him, living in Wales and having gone to Cardiff uni and feeling inadequate compared to everyone in the bbc who went to Oxford.
-
No one seriously thinks wood and Edwards are good enough to play in the prem.

Even if we accept that ridiculously charitable reading of the original post, the offence of paying to watch children being raped is not a trivial one by any means and even according to the sentencing guidelines. The sentence would be 12 months in prison. Because he had mental health issues and other mitigating factors the judge reduced the sentence to six months and made it suspended.
-
Unless ABK has made a pass at Pinder, he should be on the bench as a minimum.
-
We got away with Adams in the championship but arguably we have needed a striker since Broja left. Obviously Stewart was meant to be the one but we shouldn't be relying on him this year.

A rare moment of agreement. Maybe having a son makes you more sensitive to matters like this but the thought of my son being coerced into sending explicit pictures or worse is just awful. I'd like to think that even someone I vehemently disagree with has simply posted without thinking and has made an error. If that's not the case though it just underlines that you really don't know people you interact with online. I can't think of any of my acquaintances or anyone I interact with that would ever try to minimise crimes committed by the likes of Edwards by comparing them to even greater atrocities. The child sex trade is pretty much the most appaling 'industry' in the world and anyone propping that up is the lowest of the low. It would be impossible to find any common ground with someone who thinks as sadoldgit is claiming to here. Like I say though I hope he has made a mistake and will say something to that effect. Disagreements on a football forum aside, crimes like this shouldn't be downplayed or minimised.
-
If by your own admission you knew the photos and videos were category A then you knew it was penetrative sex and you were also aware they were of children. How could you not have known? What you've just posted above is entirely different from downplaying the offences which is clearly and unambiguously what you did. You won't apologise though, you'll just ignore the virtual universal condemnation on here and then cry that you're being unjustly persecuted the next time someone objects to what you say. Maybe it was a mistake and you didn't mean to write what you did but now would be the time to own up to that, apologise and hopefully we can all forget that you've downplayed the crime of solicitation of child rape.

Weren't we reported to have made a big money bid for ionnas that Greek striker? Also that Brazilian one? If Archer does achieve that - no guarantee - then it will only be because he plays way more. Will be interesting to see how their goals per minutes played will compare.
-
Merely "unpleasant". Fucking hell hasn't this "man" had children of his own?
-
I hope that's the case. The alternative is that he's serious and that's a lot more depressing/concerning.
