I'd gladly call soggy anti-semitic to his face. He's made more than one post on here that obviously cleared that threshold even if some of his other posts have been milder. There's a big difference between criticising the Israeli government or the actions of the IDF and some of the stuff he's been saying on here.
-
Maybe. But it eliminates the immediate threat for a decent number of years to come. Presumably Israel will use the intervening years to protect themselves further to reduce the likelihood of repeat attacks.

I reckon at the conclusion of this they'll have been pretty successful at crippling Hamas operations in Gaza and certainly getting rid of things like all the tunnels. Let's hope they get the remainder of the hostages back too. I expect if Hamas had simply surrendered a few months back and handed back the hostages then the international community would rightly have prevented Israel from doing anything further. If Hamas really cared about civilians and doing the right thing of course.

I reckon they thought they'd get a bit of a response but not on the scale that they have got. They'd largely got away with smaller things in the past.

If it works he could walk into any vacancy of that type in world football.
-
Yes but it's united. It's not about shafting us, he'd be mad not to take the opportunity.
-
Exactly. We either go up and look for someone else or we fail to go up and we've got enough notice to get someone else decent in.
-
Agree. I think he's putting a brave fave on it and doesn't want to show our hand. He will be fully aware either way.
-
I like it when we execute it well. I would like to see us having a different approach if required though. Like someone said, last night we needed to recognise the state of the pitch and adapt accordingly.
-
He's barely played this year.

Not sure I agree with you there. Kwp THB Bednarek Downes Sulemana Armstrong Brooks Is an absolute embarrassment of riches at this level. I was expecting playoffs minimum at the start of the season and it looks like we've delivered that.
-
Worth remembering that the quality of the top teams is better too. We have some obvious weaknesses at LB and cm without Downes. We also have no one like Lambert and when Armstrong has an off day he stinks the place out.
-
Despite his fantastic double the other day, I'd have preferred signing competition for Downes over Rothwell.
-
Not sure if this is a blip or a symptom of something worse.
-
Huddersfield were great against us. In this game it's been more about us being rubbish.
-
Hey we had to lose one eventually. Concerning that we have such a poor record against top sides. Let's hope we see a reaction Friday
-
This performance confirms what I've been thinking for a while - that we have flattered to deceive for a few games now and haven't looked anywhere ruthless enough. The quality of our players has allowed us to win but we haven't been blowing teams away much - particularly away from home.
-
Mara woukd have started this game for me.
-
Leeds in ominous form. We look more vulnerable but have a good spirit.
-
Just saying it will be a lot easier to look back with fondness if we've gone up. I barely remember long unbeaten runs the last time we were down here but I remember promotion. That's something worth remembering. Promotion please and then we can remember the unbeaten run as part of a pleasant memory rather than when we went ages unbeaten and then ultimately threw it away.

With Aribo and Bree due to return as well.
-
If we finish third and finish in the playoffs then no one is really going to give a shit.
-
I'd give him a chance but hopefully we would have options to the extent that we don't have to rely on him being a success.
-
Wanting to go up by winning the playoffs is very different from actively not wanting us to finish second in order to get into the playoffs. Losing in the playoffs would be a disaster for the club and finishing second would be infinitely preferable.

If we go up this year, big argument to make that his sale is the primary reason.
