They won't overturn that in a million years.
-
It's not a shocking decision that it was given but it was a strong yellow for me.
-
Spanking I reckon.
-
They're all pretty awful but I'd back him to create something over some of the other wingers. Good to see us trying out a few other things.
-
I'd actually prefer Walcott in the team over some of the others.
-
Yep. Just got a full tank for my third car from costco. Lovely stuff.
-
I filled up a full tank on Saturday morning in North Baddesley with no queue at all and my wife filled up with diesel Tuesday morning in Shirley also with no queue so I haven't encountered any issues so far.

I absolutely love the gays it's just the bisexuals I can't stand. It's just greedy.

And that's fine but given that we had already had one for joining, it would be very unfair to simply never allow the public to be asked given how much had changed since we had joined. Let's suppose we had never had a referendum, the clamour would continue to be huge for people to have a say and the issue would not have gone away.
-
That's clearly absurd. By that logic you'd have daily referenda just to ensure that everyone who turned 18 the day before didn't miss out. Nobody speaks for "the country" and just like 1975, we waited an appropriate amount of time and after the common market had evolved beyond all recognition before putting the question to the country again. Nobody serious is suggesting another referendum now in the same way that nobody serious should have been advocating for one had we voted to remain.

In what way is there now a new generation in place?
-
I think that if Ralph gets his act together we can get done better results. Our defence is better than last year but our midfield and attack is currently poor. We badly need Armstrong back and we need to play some of our pacy exciting players. Walcott was a completely pointless signing and we don't have many options offensively. If we get some injuries in defence then you'd have to say we look like relegation candidates.
-
I'd start him and give him a chance to see what he can do. Adams and Armstrong together aren't working and what Ralph will do is persist without making changes until late on like he has done consistently since he's been here. I like the bloke but it's getting to the point where you really have to question some of actions.
-
I don't think Armstrong and Adams together work. We need to try something else.
-
I personally think we are clearly better than Norwich. Possibly better than Newcastle and Burnley too. Otherwise it's very close.
-
When available the attacking part of our team should be: Armstrong romeu jwp djenepo Broja Armstrong And maybe livramento on the right if appropriate or tella. Without some changes we won't do anything else.
-
I think fundamentally we could be playing better than we are. In previous years we have been really limited by the players we have available but the big issue here is that Ralph does not make changes and makes the same mistakes over and over again. I'd give him a bit longer but if this continues we should start thinking about looking elsewhere.
-
OK that's a complete joke. I'm not there yet but I'm getting closer to Ralph out.
-
Not sure why someone is laughing at that comment. It's a dangerous time when a team stops scoring and even during our awful runs we were always a threat up front. Could be very difficult if not scoring becomes a real habit.
-
So we should have just left in 2016 without a referendum?
-
Like trousers said, was it reasonable to have a referendum in 1975 and then act on the decision? If it was then why could there never be a mechanism to reverse that decision when a new generation can have their say?
-
So in your mind was it ever possible for someone intelligent and fully aware of the facts to want to leave the EU?
-
Yes probably true. Also they haven't really had to because there's been a steady supply of cheap labour from the continent. Let's hope that some of this will now happen given the rather pressing need.
-
Yeah my post wasn't an opportunity to enter into some big brexit debate again. I'm sure that brexit hasn't helped the situation in this instance but the pandemic is the primary driver for a lot of this stuff and I doubt we'd be in this situation otherwise.

No idea about what most wanted to do. That's what I wanted to do.
