I wouldn't overthink it. It's just a nice looking shirt commemorating when we won a trophy. Very expensive but will appeal to some people.

Edwards is a defender and has played at right back a number of times throughout his career. Playing Edwards at right back doesn't weaken another area of the team in the same way it does by not playing Fellows on the wing alongside Scienza. No one is claiming Fellows is a genius that's your disingenuous hyperbole but he is highly effective on the wing and particularly with Scienza on the other side. It also means we don't have to play three centre backs which is another one of our problems.

I don't disagree. The formation is by no means entirely to blame, it's just one factor that can be changed.

Wouldn't be a surprise if Fraser goes and clearly Bazunu. With Edozie, Aribo and Edwards then that's a pretty decent clearout for January.

If you've got the money to spend then I'm not going to ridicule someone for buying it- it's lovely. It's a shame they didn't make it the official away shirt for this year that would have been superb and probably sold by the bucketload.

Surely a striker is the priority now that Downs has gone? I agree about the centre back by the way but we probably need to shift one of the other three. Wood would be my preference given that Stephens isn't likely to leave and THB is half decent on his day.

Worth pointing out that in a genius marketing move, the cost of the shirt is actually £126 with postage which is 76 plus the 50 years since we won anything.

He should have changed the formation ages ago. Edwards has played effectively at right back in the past and jellert has been back for a number of games when we could have played him at rb and Fellows in midfield where he should be. I want Tonda to play 4 at the back but my suspicion that he might consider doing it now because he's felt a bit of pressure is pathetic.

I expect he doesn't want to be second choice. Up until we got someone else Tonda considered him the best choice.

He said something like now he's a bit fitter and can play more they have options for the formation. If he does go to 4 now that will be the excuse rather than admitting he's buckled to fan and pundit pressure. Weak

He's never been gi en much of a chance, certainly not an extended run in his best position which is astounding really given how crap we have been in defence.Our worst mistake this year is not trying different things when what we are doing isn't working. I reckon he will turn out great and we will regret getting rid.

He suggested we might even see some changes of formation on occasion now that we have Jelert and roeslev fit. Didn't sound like there would be any big changes though just sometimes.
