  1. Although tbf that point does have more validity when we take points off teams on very bad runs of form.
  2. Labour wins the election = "We knew what the electorate wanted all along." Labour lose the election = "The electorate are stupid and didn't know what they were voting for."
  3. Biggest chortle of the week. Oh yes how very politically neutral you are. Floating voter my ar*e.
  4. You only have to look at the social media and the responses from Momentum and their supporters to show that for many people it absolutely is to do with demonising those who are more affluent than they are. No one has argued that the richest shouldn't contribute the most but slapping them with huge taxes and demonising them through social media isn't going to solve things, they won't stick around in the UK and as someone else pointed out, stifling aspiration by hammering those at the top and attempting to make them poorer will only result in society as a whole becoming poorer. It's why people aren't buying what the socialists are selling.
  5. Labour attempt to demonise rich people simply for having money. Like everyone there are some tyrants and unpleasant people who are rich but also some altruistic and kind ones too who already give tons of money to good causes. I saw a momentum ad yesterday laughing at people for being kind to billionaires as if having loads of money suddenly makes someone evil. There's never any recognition that some of these people will have made the country loads of money, employed hundreds or thousands of people and spearheaded innovation and wealth creation. I'm sure most can recognise that a proportional and fair tax rise would be fair enough but to try to demonise wealthy people in this manner is completely unhelpful. Thankfully it seems that the British public are rejecting this politics of envy, let's hope this attitude continues till polling day.
  6. Clapping is insensitive to those with disabilities. I want to see mass jazz hands from the Northam.
  7. Is that much different from someone like Reagan being president though? It's more to do with many people having a f*ck you attitude to those in power and others feeling disenfranchisement than the Internet imo.
  8. Who decides who are tyrants and idiots though? I don't want Mark Zuckerberg to be making that judgement on my behalf.
  9. You forgot dawn butler and David lammy. Horrendous party.
  10. Shame. Seemed like a good choice.
  11. Also wtf is the extinction rebellion internal conflict team? Who decides on a punishment if there's no leader and it's some communist clique? Is there voting?
  12. Just someone who hates humanity and sees it as a virus. He should do everyone a favour if that's what he believes and end his own life for the good of the planet.
  13. OK mate corbyn smashed it and was much superior if that makes you feel better...
  14. Absolutely it was ridiculous. It was still even Stevens though with regards to the debate.
  15. Have to say though, the clapping seals in the audience were the worst part. Should have been in an empty room.
  16. Here is an example of my latter point.
  17. The truth is that was a deadly dull debate with neither winning or losing. Anyone saying something else is just biased towards their "side".
  18. Tbf many people of Jewish descent have quite a similar look.
  19. The fact you consider a remark such as "good bloke" to be tantamount to being a fan boy, shows how often you are described in similar fashion. "Upstanding Comrade" doesn't have the same ring to it.
  20. Let's stick to factual meet ups and not your fantasy homoerotic fan fiction. On another note, whitey grandad was an absolute gent the time I met him.
  21. I hope this commentary continues throughout the campaign.
  22. I've actually met Turkish. Good bloke.
  23. I've met a few people. Most very friendly. Badboysaint back in the day was a freak though.
  24. Where is the evidence of underfunding? As far as I can see the funding goes up every year. An aging population affects it as well but is it fair to say that a big rise in immigration will put more of a strain on the NHS as well? I'm not sure why that's controversial.
