Just listened to his post match interview with a huge smile on my face. It's identical to what he said with us. Not tactical apparently! Hilarious.

Such a shame we're never going to see Downes Charles Dibling Robinson Fernandes Downs That attack would cook.

I think that's the team I'd play. Good call.

I really want to see Downes and the new Charles playing together. That's my hope for the season because that central midfield will be up there with the best in the division.

I wonder which but of that Will will find interesting? Probably the first half.

Wonder how he knows that. Odd way to do it if that's the case.

Wellington, Sugawara, Charles, Robinson should all start next week. So much more attacking intent. Actually trying to play football. I don't care so much about the result so much as moves like we are doing now.

Finally a few positives to take from the match. Sugawara looked lovely too.

What this shows is Robinson simply has to start next week. One of the only bright spots of preseason.

My feelings are exactly the same as they were when we had this conversation yesterday or the day before. Identical in fact.

What are you talking about? My position has been and remains that we will strengthen significantly before the window closes. That doesn't mean I wouldn't have rather we got some of those players in earlier.

And yet we were told the whole reason we bought him in early was to get a jump on everyone for the start of the season! Almost makes preseason pointless.

Results don't matter but the manner of performances is quite concerning. Whatever system we are playing we have barely any goal threat.

With Fernandes not playing behind the strikers we don't really have much through the middle either.

Still's style is all about wingers pinging I think loads of crosses. We don't have any wingers so maybe that's having an impact I don't know.

I know we are working the players hard but now supposedly injuries to sesay, Dibling, Downes, Smallbone, Quarshie and maybe others I might have forgotten. Is this an indication that we are overdoing it a bit? I accept some of these may be fake injuries.
