  1. Sorry to break it to you but the sky hasn't fallen in.
  2. Odd thing to say. Icke is a nutter but that doesn't mean that every opinion he has is nutty. Most of what was in that post was factual.
  3. That isn't where I got it from. Clown.
  4. "A Prime Minister resigned. The £ plummeted. The FTSE 100 lost significant ground. But then the £ rallied past February levels, and the FTSE closed on a weekly high: 2.4% up on last Friday, its best performance in 4 months. President Obama decided we wouldn't be at the 'back of the queue' after all and that our 'special relationship' was still strong. The French President confirmed the Le Touquet agreement would stay in place. The President of the European Commission stated Brexit negations would be 'orderly' and stressed the UK would continue to be a 'close partner' of the EU. A big bank denied reports it would shift 2,000 staff overseas. The CBI, vehemently anti-Brexit during the referendum campaign, stated British business was resilient and would adapt. Several countries outside the EU stated they wished to begin bi-lateral trade talks with the UK immediately. If this was the predicted apocalypse, well, it was a very British one. It was all over by teatime. Not a bad first day of freedom."
  5. Yep. I thought leave had lost last night and I simply said never mind let's move on. It's not the apocalypse but the way some people have been going on this morning it's like it's the end of the world.
  6. Yep. Get a few of them out and then join a trading block again which is what it was supposed to be in the first place.
  7. I was going to bed but I'm not sure I can now...
  8. Hartlepool 70% out.
  9. What a shame. Entirely predictable though. Never mind.
  10. Tbf he can't win either way. I think that's pretty classy to at least try to leave on good terms.
  11. 55 remain 45 leave
  12. Indeed and I look at the current rugby union coach and how he has transformed that team and I wonder somethibg similar can't happen with the football team.
  13. Yes that's my point. It's not that I'm expecting us to be the best, simply I want us to show the potential we have.
  14. Wheb was the last time we smashed even a rubbish team at a tournament? 1996?
  15. I had both on. Excellent goal by Croatia
  16. Caroline lucas accomplished that much better. Regardless, remain finally performed well.
  17. Indeed he is. Comes across as a bit manic and try hard. If we have learnt nothing from this campaign it's that we should be promoting the capable and engaging women in politics more. Almost all the blokes have been deeply unimpressive.
  18. People say they are undecided but the reality is that the vast majority made their minds up ages ago. I can't imagine a debate at the eleventh hour will have changed much. I expect remain to win relatively comfortably as I have done since the referendum was first announced. I do hope that it's close enough that the EU dont see it as a mandate to do whatever they like.
  19. I don't think that's true, only if you are biased. I think remain have performed better here undoubtedly. Well Ruth and sadiq have.
  20. Being honest I think remain have won this debate. Will be interesting to see if it changes any minds this late on though.
  21. They should have put the very capable and engaging Caroline lucas on the main stage instead of the frankly awful TUC woman.
  22. Apologies. I read wheb you said "then" as "that"
  23. I didn't mention that line though so odd you would quote my post in your comment.
  24. No it didn't. The project hate line did but the bit about the deal was booed. On another note the TUC woman is absolutely horrendous.
  25. ... And as I say that he fumbles the ball by suggesting that Cameron deserves praise for his EU "deal".
