  1. Well Wigan did alright in it didn't they? Cup football is different to league form. Pretty likely not to progress too far but you can hope.
  2. Has anyone gone down with 21 points at this stage of the season? Very unlikely we will be relegated and therefore this season is about the fa cup. Once we exit that then my interest will most likely turn to the euros.
  3. You've read every single one of the posts on here, don't try to pretend otherwise. Contrary to your assertion that I got my knickers in a twist, I actually laughed at you because you referenced it so much (I see you referencing it again here.) yet continued to reply to many of my posts (and then stopped when I pointed that out!) The good news is that I can continue to call you a liar and as you have decided not to respond, we won't have to have repeats of your denials and fabrications. Carry on making yourself look foolish though, you're doing a grand job.
  4. You've spent the entire thread not answering questions. Bit hypocritical of you to criticise others don't you think?
  5. He just chooses one person until they ask him a few things he can't answer, then he ignores them and moves on to the next person. Classic troll behavior.
  6. Also at you "not reading most of their posts anymore." you've clearly read every post on here.
  7. But she doesn't and no one here has said that she does get to decide so you're really just arguing with yourself. You just make up fictitious scenarios where people disagree with some of your incredibly bland statements. The reality is that you have seen things in many posts that simply are not there. Not only are you a liar (see CB Fry's post and my earlier posts for confirmation of that) but you're also a troll.
  8. Yes but you aren't the one making out she has some sort of authority or speaks for anyone other than herself.
  9. No one is saying she gets to decide apart from you.
  10. Thank goodness then that vast majority do not view all Muslims as the enemy. SOG keeps trying to say that that is what everyone on this thread is saying for some reason. I'm not really sure why.
  11. Why are you asking questions that no one has disagreed with? You brought all the guff up about hopkins no one else. Don't try and pretend it has been taken off topic just because you have been made to look foolish for the umpteenth time.
  12. Nick Griffin and his ilk routinely bemoan the fact that we are losing our Christian heritage. They would also be concerned about keeping traditions such as nativities. Are they Christians?
  13. Couldn't have put it better myself. Well said whelk. *cue soggy going off on another tangent and asking inane questions.
  14. She didn't make a big deal put of celebrating the birth of the son of God. She made a big deal out of attending her child's nativity and guess what? It's a huge deal to loads of parents, many of whom are not in the least bit religious (as I do nativitys in my job every year I know this to be true.) she wants to attend the nativity clearly because she values British traditions and the fact that this is supposedly a Christian country. Do you realise you can value British traditions without the whole believing in God thing?
  15. What evidence do you have that hopkins is a Christian other than the fact she went to a Catholic school when she was younger (so did millions or non Christians), attended her child's nativity (like millions of non Christians) and claimed she was the new Jesus? (unlike any Christian I have ever heard of)
  16. How on earth do we know that hopkins doesn't do what most of the non religious western world do at Christmas. The vast majority aren't Christians but it doesn't stop them exchanging gifts etc over that period and- shock horror- having a nativity! Her behaviour and attitudes are not someone that strikes me as typical Christian values, unless you have a quote which says she actively celebrates the birth of christ on Christmas? I'm not sure why we are continuing with this idiocy, you're the only one left ploughing this lonely furrow and no one agrees with you. It's the rantings of a troll looking got a reaction.
  17. Which as you keep ignoring, is the opposite sort of thing that a Christian would say...
  18. Sorry can't say I agree at all. They were the better team and had much better chance on average.
  19. Or anyone who has ever been in a nativity is automatically a Christian? I just don't understand his thinking, it's incredibly muddled. I'm not sure he understands it either...
  20. Why would anyone dispute that? In fact one of the key beliefs in Christianity is that we are all flawed in the eyes of God and all imperfect.
  21. Totally completely bonkers. Again why would describing yourself as the new Jesus make you a follower of Christianity? That is the total opposite of what a Christian would do and would be considered by many to be blasphemous! No you don't have to be Catholic to be a Christian but you do have to be Christian and follow the teaching of christ. So are you saying the billions of people who celebrate Christmas are all Christians then?
  22. People can parrot on about labour slowly picking up steam but I don't believe even the most optimistic of people seriously think he has a chance of an election win. What labour need is a more electable with enough time before the election to mount a proper challenge.
  23. Nit sure what a random bi election has to do with anything. One small achievement isn't going to translate to a general election victory is it. It's one thing to do largely the same as labour did under Ed, quite another to convince floating voters to switch back to labour. I'm not sure anyone is seriously suggesting he I would win back enough of them to have a chance of victory.
  24. A Christian is someone who follows the religion based on the life and teachings of christ and someone who has accepted christ as their Lord and saviour. Hopkins has not done any of those things.
  25. Absolutely none of those things make her a Christian. Not even a little bit. In fact calling herself the new Jesus is pretty much the opposite of what a Christian would do.
