Tbf I don't think we will get champions league but it's probably the best chance we will ever have and not impossible (Newcastle were close a few years back after all.) I agree that I would much rather win a cup than qualify for the Champions League because we will get knocked out of it and will have won nothing. I can see his point but it would probably have happened anyway. I don't think Hitler's rise to power hinged solely on an ex German war commander giving him credibility. Yes the hyper inflation didn't help but imo it was more about an embarrassed German public wanting some national pride again after being beaten (sort of like the Russian public now.)

It's your pathetic attitude that makes people disillusioned with politics in general. There is no mental gymnastics involved. I can't speak for ukip but I want fairness with immigration. If we need a profession then we should be welcoming to anyone from around the world who can contribute to this country not just anyone who fancies it from Europe.
