I'm surprised that there has been no attempt by some football clubs to do something different with their kits. I'm thinking some sort of reflective logo, special material on the shirts etc to make them stand out. Every year it's the same sort of thing from every club.

Like wheb Norwich did all their deals early and then got relegated you mean? It's the right players at the right time.

Doing the right deals and not getting hung up on early and late is the correct thing to do. You can get some great deals throughout the transfer window if you know where to look- as we proved last summer.

Well they are an example of last minute deals that didn't cost a load.
