I think he might stay a few years if we stay up. I'd say at this point that looks remote though and I can't see him hanging around in the championship. A 30 million pound offer from someone like Liverpool next summer after relegation and he's offski.

Ah right I misread it. I agree with him then. We should be playing Dibling as much as we possibly can short of giving him injury problems. We need to get maximum benefit because he might not be here next year.
-
Phase jwp in more? Than who? Dibling has barely played for us thus far.
-
Not sure I agree with that. You wouldn't have said we'd be in a sorry state when we played bale or Shaw. If you're good enough then you're certainly old enough and we need the best player sout there to give us the best chance of a result.
-
In the nicest possible way I don't really care. Dibling is going to be here two to three years absolute maximum. What his injury record is like after that time isn't really our concern.
-
Alternatively, bale, Walcott and Shaw were playing semi regularly at a similar age. Yes we have to be careful but we can't not play him if he's the best player in that position.

Is one of those people you know am ex army officer? Or was that the other fellow?

It's gallows humour that's laughing at the ridiculous gamble the club took in the first place. It has nothing at all to do with Stewart himself who I'm sure everyone is crossing their fingers that he can come back in some fashion and contribute positively.

Whereas your posts appeal to those who consider it acceptable to call someone a rape apologist, fascist etc.

Has the added bonus that when he does badly. Lee Arsely rolls right off the tongue. If it's the entire team you're blaming then you can say that performance was a Lee Farcely.
-
I really think we need to reintegrate ABK now he's seemingly stayed. There's very little reason not to.

It's a bit silly that followers don't really know any of the players or what the team needs. I haven't followed it particularly closely but it seems like there's been a load of upheaval over the summer and quite a few players unhappy and then the season just starts with little preview or idea of who all these new players are. If someone does follow it regularly I would imagine it's quite frustrating and probably contributes to the low crowds.
-
The fact there isn't much to say a number of weeks later is itself news.
-
That's what I mean. Would be good if the club had a dedicated contact to organise things like this.
-
I agree this would be a nice thing to do. I see a lot of these requests nowadays, is it a new thing? Maybe the club should do something via an official channel to make it easier to organise.

Being the big fish in the league below is generally such fun.

J-rod was tragic. He was just getting great, attracting interest from England and would have been a top player. His injury came at the worst possible time.

Keeping Track of the Contracts 2024-25

Sorry meant to put a / between Armstrong and Lallana. Yes we will likely have a fair bit and would strengthen but it's a pretty solid team all things considered. Certainly won't be the same level of fire sale like last year. -
Whoops you're right. Still the point stands. 4-2-3-1 is what most successful team play in this league. Let's do that.
-
We should play 4-2-3-1 Ramsdale Sugawara Bednarek THB kwp/taylor Downes big Les Dibling/Armstrong fernandes/Lallana bbd/Cornet Archer

No it isn't that's what a medical is for. One suggestion on here was that they weren't happy with the way his fractured wrist injuries had healed which is something you would only discover after a medical.
-
Yeah I think it's reasonable to assume that if we lost those three he'd be gone.
