  1. That was just the Adkins ones!
  2. four threads on first page of their forum on Adkins. More than on Poyet? Can't see why they don't enjoy their great season - first is the achievement, not beating just us. Compliment suppose http://northstandchat.com/forumdisplay.php?20-The-Big-Board
  3. watched MK and Cherries games - and against us, on those would only have him on a free behind Kelvin and Bart!
  4. "well done on keeping up with us"
  5. from that posh paper FORM IF form over the last 10 matches is replicated in the run-in to the end of the season, Posh will finish second as long as Southampton, who have games in hand, slip up. Posh need to beat Bournemouth at London Road in front of the Sky television cameras on Friday night to put pressure on Southampton aheda of their crunch match with MK Dons the following day. Posh have picked up more points over the last 10 matches than any of the other teams battling for second spot (Forget Brighton, they will soon be crowned deserved champions). Southampton look the biggest danger, but they have a defeat at lowly Walsall in their recent run of form. Huddersfield are unbeaten in 2011, but have stopped scoring, Bournemouth are in freefall and while MK Dons have won five on the bounce, it was hard to see them maintaining that form for much longer given the evidence of last Monday night, and so it proved as they dropped bad points at home to Walsall on Friday night.
  6. playing hell of a lot better than Peterborough! Seen their last two sky games - not impressed at all
  7. sure someone (Delldays??) said a game we went onto lose about 4 months ago was a must win - surely this is irrelevant now then?
  8. reckon 85 will be plenty
  9. After tonight's game The most our rivals can achieve with 100% record, and how many points from 10 games we need to beat their max Hudds 91 26 Posh 87 23 mk 86 21 cherries 86 19
  10. 3rd 90mins I have seen their keeper - poor in all three!
  11. the two against Norwich at about 1.40, think were midweek game - but I thought it was hatrick?? Was I exagerating in my memory?
  12. not knocking him, as we are lucky to have him and of course would play him if fit - but he does drift out of the game at times - expected for winger of his age. Another option may not bring the brilliance but may put in team performance?
  13. Sorry your dad is a loon, lacking any rationale! BTW alps didn't fancy the bet that he would be closer than the loons.
  14. what about midfield Hammond Chaplow Stephens Lallana
  15. What's that make Lallana, Chaplow, Connolly who all must be shorter??!!
  16. was from earlier in thread - there does seem to be a misconception about fergie's impact - not as impressive as Adkins has been.
  17. if true disappointing, but won;t have the impact losing Lallana, Fonte or Lambert would - we have other options
  18. what championship ones end of next season?
  19. arry won't get england job anytime soon
  20. he is! Poyet and Fergie senior are only managers bettering him! If you think that's grounds for sacking how many managers next season???
  21. perhaps he played on Saturday as a trialist?!
  22. before the return of Fergie they were 4 points off 2nd with a game in hand.....he has now got them to......errr .... 4 points off 2nd with game in hand!
  23. lol
  24. think we can do without Ox-C. Good player but sometimes his inexperience shows - giving away possession too easily and letting game pass him by for periods. If fit should definately play. If not I wonder whether Forte / N'Geusson will offer more consistent level of team play i.e. miss the peaks of Ox-C but steadier game? Also wonder whether Adkins would consider using new lad and changing shape? Lallana is missed as he works so hard, always wants the ball, and willingly takes it even if several players tight to him so creates space for others.
