he tries the unusual, so when it works it totally throws opposition but when it doesn't it can look silly. doesn't always work - but if it did he would not be in league 1!
-
doesn't apply to apprentices

it is rubbish. I posted from the game at half time that its funny, some posters been moaning that we have not been playing pretty just winning - first half (certainly first half hour) we played some lovely football - some of the best of the season - but were losing!! Couldn't care if we don't improve at all - if we carry on like we are we will walk promotion

Championship Season - What positions need strengthening?
NickG replied to RobM's topic in The Saints
Millwall were on a par, just about with us last season. We have a stronger first 11 and squad this season than last. Millwall have kept the same team. They are just outside of play offs. Don't think our squad / side would be far off in ability next season. -

why? -
calm, comfortble on the ball didn't do anything flashy to catch the eye seemed happy to run into opposition's box also seemed vocal - considering his age, experience of players he was joining noticed him shouting at few of them to cover positions

Joe Lewis may become very good keeper, don't think he is near to Kelvin yet.
-
not seen keeper this season in league 1 would rather have.
-
no, 30 secs short
-
think both teams used all subs so that makes 3 mins, was bit of injury so prob about right - don't think 5 mins were played tho!
-
just done the bbc predictor for the first time, surprised that had us level on points (83) with Peterborough, with Hudds falling behind - going into last game...

oldest first DWWWWWDLWWDWWWWW = 12W, 3D, 1L (2.44 points per game at St Marys) Won last 5 home games Not lost at home since his single home defeat against Brentford last year. Four home games left. need max 20 points to beat Peterborough, reckon somewhere between 15 and 20 (max 23) to beat Huddersfield. Dont think its too optimistic to hope for at least 9 points from home games left. Leaving 6 to 11 points from 5 away games. Just trying to convince myself!!

head and shoulders above the posh keeper, who quite a few were desperate to get in January, and who posh fans are now blaming for ruining their promotion chances
-
Stephens and Morgan for next season??
-
just seen his first on tv - harder than I thought at the ground - not straight forward
-
thought he gave it away on half way line?
-
guly looked bit like his first few games when he seemed to lack an understanding with others - hopefully soon back to his better form

Saints sign 21 year old Dale Stephens on loan - official
NickG replied to Saint_clark's topic in The Saints
First impressions... looked decent player. very happy to accept the ball even when players tight to him, seemed mobile, made couple of attacking runs. for youngster coming on for his debut looked confident - happy to shout at the older players. promising start -
Sublime skill intense work rate great character and committment League 1 doesn't deserve performances like his. If he carries on like this, and sticks around he will be a name we talk about for years
-
how many players have ever played in league one with the skill and work rate of Lallana today?
-
think Nigel is the better manager for us
-
total crap.

Lol

Enjoyed that

Playing some lovely football to keep Fitz happy - but not winning! No real chances for us - lacking quality final ball Formation pretty much 433 worked at start but maybe time for change. Lallana playing well Rickie too deep and bit off pace at mo
