They have gone from behind us to ahead by playing 3 games more. They have only gained 5 points on us by playing 3 games - in other words falling behind! Hate this not appreciating how well we are doing and bigging up other managers! Fergie has been manager for 16 games - taking over side on verge of automatic promotion. In those games he has earnt 30 points. Impressive. Adkins in last 16 games has earnt 35 points! Very impressive! So this great manager fergie has earnt 5 less points than Adkins has in their last 16 games.

And another thing Lard!....this underwhelming performance of Adkins...his points per game is better than all league 2 clubs, all championship clubs and only bettered by Man U (marginallly) and Brighton. He is doing F@ing well!

When Adkins got in the bus we were already ; 8 points behind Peterborough 8 point behind MK 7 Cherries 7 Huddersfield People rave about how consistant Peterborough have been - Adkins has more than caught up those points. If we miss out, it won't be by much and will be down predominately to the Pardew/Wilkins start. He won't be sacked.

Think its only now its fair to compare Adkins and Pardew as Pardew had to build a squad. He had done that by the end of January transfer window. Since the end of the January transfer window we have had 11 games. Comparison over the same period - Pardew - 11 games post January transfer window, after signing Barnard and Fonte - W - 6 , D - 3, L - 2 = 21 points Adkins - last 11 games, post transfer window W -7, D -3, L - 1 = 24 points Adkins is doing well.

There was a discussion on the radio about the relative merits of old, new Wembley and Cardiff. Suddenly thought how lucky I have been to see a team the size of saints play finals at all three locations. I wonder how many other clubs' fans can say the same as us?
