  3. not sure why you are pretending to be Alpine, he's not the sharpest tool in the box to model yourself on!
  4. Brian Howard just played against Man City
  5. wrong! Only today -
  6. people in the game will not just look as shallowly at the game as you do, just because he never played for italy doesn't make him a bad manager.
  7. really need a manager who can get us 3 points per game average and a better run than W W W L W D W D W !
  8. don't think Saint Lard likes saints
  9. "And so, despite the ‘stature’ of the club, Saints currently sit three points behind tiny Cherries going into tomorrow’s ‘cup final’ at Dean Court."

    Peterbrough

Peterborough are saying that they hope not getting Lallana and Ox-C of us in January is not going to come back to haunt them, also worried about drawing a recent home game allowing an away team to score 4.
  11. has he said we are getting loan in? Listened online and think he just said something about Morgan out so will look at that?
  12. Mitchell said he shook NC's hand and patted him on the back, sweet!
  13. in summary, carry as we are and we should be ok - but any drop in form and may struggle.
  14. just read on their forum and they would only take Lallana and Lambert - so guess 9 would!
  15. did he say that? Didn't hear it when listened to the bbc online
  16. suppose if any of us win all games we will go up and not need other results.
  17. did it after all teams had played their game that week - not that it makes much difference.
  18. nope. All true. Do you need some of it explaining to you?
  19. Last 6 games: http://www.football-league.co.uk/page/CurrentForm/0,,10794~201025,00.html Pretty close, Peterborough top with 16 points and 18 goals, us and Huddersfield not far behind. Last 8 games http://stats.football365.com/dom/ENG/D2/oform.html Again close with Peterborough edging it. Since Adkins Brighton played 27, 57 points Saints played 27, 56 points Bournemouth played 29, 50 points Huddersfield played 29, 49 points Peterborough played 28, 49 points Think Bournemouth may well struggle to mount a challenge now, after back to back defeats including their cup final. Think us, Peterborough and Huddersfield are all close but our game in hand and goal difference gives us the edge and would make us favorites for 2nd. This site is good - and puts Peterborough as getting it based on recent form http://stats.football365.com/dom/ENG/D2/runin.html All could look different in couple of games!
  20. um pahars - think we are saying same thing?
  21. they are not impressive signings in that they excite fans as bettering Lallana or Ox-C - but if you really thought that is possible in league 1 you don't have a clue. Most agreed all this squad needed was another winger on bench option. What is impressive is that rather than just 1, from lower league we got two with reasonable backgrounds. If we sold Lallana and Ox-C and got these two I would have been far from impressed. But as signings for a league 1 squad player, probably not always even getting guaranteed place on bench -then they are fairly impressive signings. I support saints - and therefore approach them positively as most who really support them do.
  22. of course end of season - we are on target to go up based on games in hand and either recent or season form (post adkins form even better) so why not save the criticism of any drop of in performance leading to failure until that happens? Leeds and Millwall were not setting league 1 on fire, Norwich were good. They currently sit 3rd, 5th and 12th.
  23. only Brighton - who, last time I looked were bit better than us, rest bit behind. Honestly believe our first 11, and squad is clearly better than Brighton, and everyone. We should have been looking at winning this league
  24. He isn't a current first team player for a premiership, or top 6 championship side, therefore not good enough for our bench. I know that professor told me
