about 84 points is what has been needed over last 10 years. 46 games - less than 2 per game. We are going at 2.25, which carried on for rest of season (not neccessarily going to happen I know but last 9 games is quite a good indicator of form and where we are now + must have strongest second 11 in league + more likely to spend in Jan) -would give us 94 points - promoted with games to spare.

If we continue gaining points as we have under the last 8 games under Adkins we will finish with 89 points. This would be more than has been needed for automatic promotion for everyone of the last 10 seasons. Therefore Adkins has, consistently for the last 8 games got us performing at the level needed. We could always do better!

no we need to get out of this league. The way we played, and the results - Oct onwards if repeated would give us a succesful season.
