what reaction have you seen?
-
underperforming means not meeting targets set by your employer. AP's targets appear to be sorting club out this year, stabalising and maybe heading for play offs. Promotion next year. I expect Cortesse is happy he is performing to his targets. I expect he doesn't care that that you think he is not doing a good job - although sure both of them would prefer to have won more points.

http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showthread.php?t=446337&page=4 four pages of comments and not a single negative one about him or saints

move on ffs

he raved about Lambert - should be playing at higher level and is improving said supporter have been amazing - quoting crowd figures said away performances need to improve a lot squad to big for this level behind likes of leeds in quality in depth said team still new and building confidence /team spirit said a good little run of results and will start looking toward play offs although looks a long way away at mo

don't see them as rivals - only place looking at us finishing towards the bottom is with few posters on here. BBC football league show was talking about us a play off candidates. very kind of you to give him until Christmas - although I guess even then he won't care whether you think he has performed well

not sure if its on line but I am recording it and can write summary if anyone wants.
-
agree - nice problems to have!

assuming (hoping!) Connolly finds full fitness/form not sure what our first choice 11 would be now?

we could keep the other recent classics going - like how cr@p Rickie L is!
-
perhaps there should be one thread where we are all allowed one post, to pass judgement on Crouch / LMC/NP/Lowe/Burley etc and then we all move on?
-
maybe - I read it more as a defence of Pardew.
-
not sure at all. would have liked him to stay when he left. Pardew has impressed me with his building of backroom etc and his experience. Sure NP would have done well for us - my gut feeling - and its only that, is Pardew will be better for us
-
who would you prefer then?
-
maybe I am a plank, or just have higher threshold for "very good" but think he still has more to achieve to be classed as very good. Personally would prefer Pardew at the moment
-
v defensive - not a single post negative against NP when you post this?
-
wish him all the best -either come back to do a job, or as weston says finds his level.
-
I bet he will as well (and he had the disadvantage of starting in the relegation zone!) hth!
-
think the standard of opposition made people get frustrated quickly -high expectations for hatful of goals after weekend - then two soft goals. Basically we were without our three "clever" players in midfield - Lallana, Mellis and Schneiderlin. Gillett / Hammond / Wotton all too similar. But it was still the easiest 2-2 draw I have ever seen!
