its thinking of possibilities and successes that make it exciting. If we were told now we were finishing 10th it would be boring. We all would be able to guess a range of finishes - and I expect there would be quite a variation.

think next 3 games are going to show how confident this team is if we get 7+ points I can really see us going on to have an amazing season 4-6 will be decent season -trying to see if play offs possible less than 4 - mid table steady.

quite simply good young players who will go a lot further in their career, without doubt. young players often lose form, or disappear in games. Schneiderlin came to a new country last year, as 18 year old, and joined a club in chaos. We are lucky to have both.

why? if so many watching him have been impressed, Pardew raving about him in the last game saying he was class above etc?? He has struggled with consistency and disappears (Pardew said same) but if he maintains 80% of the form he can he will be excellent for us in this league.

exactly what I based first post on, if we get there - there will be v good chance of having better goal difference. for what its worth I still would predict 8-10th finish - but the first post was a very rough (as it said) demonstration that it is possible.

sorry, checked again, those figures are wrong - you maybe looking at points the team in 6th got, rather than points required to get 6th place. Explained in my first post, but it is what you say you have done??

I rated him last season and thought he would go on to be better this. Don't agree he has been treated badly. He plays the same role as Hammond and Hammond is much better

lol - you didn't even post on the thread in question so I wasn't referring to you, I wonder why you thought someone saying posters were rude and arrogant were talking about you? Although you last line is making a decent effort to make the cap fit! And I appreciate your compliment on how I stay positive and support my team despite watching a lot of crap there over the years. it wasn't based on opinion but the previous - I think I looked at about 7 seasons - often teams in play offs had more points but by far the most common threshold that would passed to secure that position was 69

often subs are questioned only for us later to become aware that player had minor injury -this was the case here.
