being manager has its perks - don't know how he managed to find a seat.
-
think that was on OS first as well!
-
fixtures released there before bbc/sky etc. Think Stern John's contract offer and decline were both there first. Remember most of stuff on here isn't true so doesn't make in onto OS
-
want good rumours like the Strachen was coming back from holiday to be our manager? Oldknow and Cortesse seem v professional - keep watching OS
-
he's on a goal/game scoring run!
-
I wonder if we sell more tickets in the 3rd tier to play likes of Yeovil and Gillingham than they do to watch Man U etc - will we still get the pathetic likes of pfc123 stating they are a bigger club?
-
Nick, they have imho started to show committment already offers to KD and SJ Alan Pardew turned down offers for Lallana and Schneiderling. Lowe would not have done this. They have said they ideally want a self-financing club however realise they need year on year investment to get us to the premier league. Why are you so sure that we have RL mark 2 - most are excited by him and are more than willing to give him a chance.

Be great if the main saints fans areas were filled with season ticket holders each week. Sure a lot of away fans will want to visit St marys and will bring decent crowds
-
I meant the St Marys crowd - bigger than blue few are used to;)
-
agree, all fair points - particularly transfer window virtually all transfers are on thr last 48 hours.
-
he has said he knows he will have to continue to invest annually over the next 5 years. Not sure what you disagree with sorry.
-
Ajax would have stuffed skates - for a start they would have frozen not used to playing infront of a crowd!
-
last season we could not have afforded John, Saga, Rasiak. I doubt whether we could have afforded KD's new contract - certainly one to stop him going to West Ham We couldn't have afforded Pardew. I really don't get NickH's criticisms? Was he expecting Kaka?
-
I was sure the last two saints first team fixtures were a 4-1 defeat to champions league Ajax. And the only game with new manager beating the team that finished 3rd in SPL, Hearts 3-0. There were other saints youth/eleven games.
-
a £1m player plus his wages instead then please!
-
quite a reason polite response. One which stops animosity. Most fans have an interest in their neighbours - just the few (and maybe not you) come on with silly posts about how big you are etc. One it doesn't matter you are better than us -look at the league. Two your figures show its an arguement you are never going to win.
-
missed the optimistic bit? v v v early days. We could lose first three, have minus 10 points and still go up -who knows. Last season something like 99-98% of tranfer deals were not just Augurst -but on the very last 48 hours of August.
-
one entity as in Liebherr has bought a single package off of fry, sole owner, private company - of course he could split it and start cross charging but that doesn't fit in with anything he has said on the matter. The previous structure were for very different reasons - not least not privately owned by one person.

Peterborough lost 9 and draw 11 last year. Crewe stayed up with 12 wins. I am sure nothing will be decided, either way, after Millwall game. Its not time to panic.
-
the club own the stadium, they are now one and the same. The club would be paying rent to themselves!
-
 is it just me confused at what you are saying?? In answer to NickH saying there is lack of investment I made the point that by clearing the debt, reducing the stadium running costs, there has already been an indirect investment, i.e. a lot more money available for team.
-
the stadium debt didn't cost us anything then?
-
it maybe a bargain, but it still makes a real difference to our running costs
-
He has only had them play for him once at Hearts - would rather he decided exactly what we need and best player for it rather than rushing to appease fans or to do better in first two games.
