Don't know how much the stadium loan cost us but clearing that is plenty of investment for this year. Pardew won't be cheap either. Nick - not still after MJ?
-
two good keepers, Bridge, Lescott, Toure, Richards SWP Barry Ireland Robinho Tevez Adebayor or any number of combinations in not some way of those teams imho - think they are writing them off too easily. Sure few others to come fullback round wrong way!
-
If they do lose him, Distin, Campbell, to add to Crouch, Johnson, and Davis already gone - will they be able to even get a squad together as good as Derby's last time?
-
no, quite happy for skates to disappear.
-
Dear Mr Skate Look at the figures. We were relatively well supported following relegation. Even last season, with all negativity, boardroom stuff - and most of season without a home win - our crowds compared favourably with many others - including premiership sides. We have sold more season tickets this year than teams with mythical good support such as Newcastle or skates would have done.
-
they have said regular investment
-
arhhh...1984 -seems lifetime away now!
-
a lot of crowds are dropping at the moment. I think an average of 16,000, in their first year relegated,as recently as 1990, dispels their self-generated myth of huge loyal support. We should be proud of our support.
-
skates playing infront of the biggest crowd they will get in Hampshire this season?
-
you are right, they must have been a lot fitter before they stopped for summer.
-
fair enough!
-
have you tried their hobbies and pastimes section - rather than sports?
-
I did it a few years ago and watched it once so not keen on paying out. Can you share log in?

he is talented but needs to find a position to excel at

would enjoy a season of no points, and even the blue few desert them
-
like this - I don't think fitness was our problem last year, I think it was confidence, motivation and character;) (and Pardew agrees with me not you;)!)
-
exactly how I saw it, would play great (and we often did) for ten mins, its didn't work and heads dropped.
-
who? Murty doesn't yet -but has said so himself. Sure there is room for performance, and were probably were fitter teams last year - but still think it wasn't major problem
-
3 adults, 2 kids so far. not sure but did their renewals before selling whole squad and when they were either having Erikkson or Mancini as manager. Still won't be many blue few.

Posted this in Newcastle thread in lounge. We are better supported in league 1 than Newcastle were in CCC. Newcastle 16,000 1990 year they got relegated last time into CCC Saints 24,000 2004 year we got relegated into CCC Portsmouth 8,000 in 1997. -just to show they are
-
I disagree - confidence and character is why we faded. Pardew has just similar saying we were very fit when he came in.
-
more than last year! We are going to beat skates on attendances! lol
-
Pardew is impressed with our fitness - fitness wasn't problem last year
-
he did, and looked excellent - got stuck in, good tackles and attacking run
-
Tore Andre Flo was at MK dons??
