  1. I'm not sure of the exact position but the company put into administration is either a subsidiary of SISU or of the Football Club so is not the Holding Co as SLH was with us. It appears that the court hearing re administration today is an application by the stadium owners (Council/DR's Charity?) against the FC for £1.3m outstanding rent. If that is successful it will be the FC in administration, whilst the company SISU have already put into administration has no assets or employees and is a subsidiary. (Does it rent the stadium?)
  2. I think we were a bit complacent at the start of the season. It was a hell of a start in terms of fixtures and we were not able to step up in terms of getting results conceding far too many goals. After the WBA game Cork and Shaw plugged the leaks and for the next 12 games under Adkins we turned the corner and moved up the table W4 D6 L2 and our away form was solid. Pochettino then took over a team that had turned the corner, we then W2 D3 L3, but for some reason I felt we were playing better than that. I have always felt that unless Adkins was presiding over a debacle such as the first ten game form continuing, he should have been given the benefit of completing the season. His team was averaging 1.5 points a game at the time, with good away form and at last a solid back six and a goalkeeper now living up to his reputation with his last game giving Chelsea a two goal start. I think he was unfairly treated. Having said that I sense that the players have bought into the way Pochettino wants to play. AL said that he has a presence. I also think that NC may be right, ruthless but nonetheless right. I don't think we would have become much better as a team whereas I just feel that Pochettino and his coaches have added a sharpness to the side. I hope that we can pick up the ten or so points to put this season to rest. Then I think that we may find, as long as we are in the Premier next season, that we will be an entirely better proposition next season. I must admit I like the way that Pochettino sets the team up and pressures from the front. He has also allowed JR to step up effectively.
  3. You are just an ignorant know it all with no manners and a massive chip on both shoulders. Not worth bothering with. Grow up and get a life.
  4. And Shaw playing regularly at left back.
  5. Since we sorted the team after WBA we have taken 27 points from 20 games with a +4 goal difference. If we just keep doing that we will have 42ish points.
  6. Adkins is still employed and being paid but on gardening leave. His contract is being honoured. The LMA tribunal is to try and reach a severance settlement. If he goes to Reading now he could be tearing up his contract. Saints will want Reading to pay any settlement.
  7. I should think there will be a little matter of compensation required by SFC to release him as they will have to pay a considerable sum to NA to pay up his contract. There may well be obstacles there. If I was NC, if NA takes another job, I wouldn't feel obliged to pay up the contract he has broken prior to arbitration, which in the circumstances would have been short circuited.
  8. Another with attitude. Agree or disagree, so what, it's only an opinion. I thought he made a meal of it.
  9. Liverpool were poor against Spurs who looked like they would win comfortably until Walker dropped the goalkeeper in it, then Suarez, a second after a touch threw himself on the ground for a penalty. A lot softer than Shaw's at Norwich. A decent enough side but not unbeatable.
  10. Lambert's goals and penalties we couldn't stay up without them.
  11. Ramirez was limping for about five minutes before substitution.
  12. Two full backs, three midfielders and one striker on the bench, Mayuka surely would have been better than JWP to try and rescue the game.
  13. The centre backs were bullied out of it. Fox just doesn't know how to mark, I lost count of the times the only player he could mark was goalside of him, who he thought he was defending against God only knows. Fonte wasn't up to speed and moving Yoshida to the left to accommodate him unbalanced the defence. Both Yoshida and Fonte were diving in and missing far too often. Clyne worked hard but him and Puncheon didn't team up too well today. Cork worked hard but it wasn't one of his best, Schneiderlin did better but Lallana was peripheral and it was an improvement when Rodriguez replaced him. Lambert was just outmuscled without support. Ramirez was starting to run the game but was limping before he was taken off otherwise we might have got something. I'd like to know if anybody was briefed to run interference on the goalkeeper because he wouldn't have made that save from the corner if he had been blocked off. I just think the slow motion square and backwards buildups allowing them to get 10 men in front of the ball together with no off the ball movement to pull them around forced us to hit hopeful balls. Only Lambert seems to know how to move defenders around, we were far too easily marked today. For me plan B was two up front when Plan A wasn't working.
  14. I went to a meeting where Crouch, McMenemy and Mary Corbett told us that the Football Club were now just about out of money. Bearing in mind this is not SLH in Administration we are talking about. The statement made was that there wasn't enough money to allow SFC to go into administration. If it wasn't saved quickly it was liquidation.
  15. I'm not sure of the legal position but as far as I can see he is stood down with no requirement to attend work. I wonder what the legal situation would be if he and his colleagues went and worked for free for another club and continued to draw their salaries. NC would then probably terminate their employment. Then it would be up to the tribunal to sort it out.
  16. Less the interest either paid by PCC for a loan or interest on their capital.
  17. Forget about the typewriters, give the monkeys money instead and they'll buy a bankrupt football club
  18. Even my dog wouldn't
  19. So if the FCR is guaranteeing payment to the players, PST are snookered, as the outstanding PPs would have to cover that.
  20. Bloody hell! where do the prats bury their heads. PKF statement- April 2012. Outstanding PPs £14m, less £5m football creditors, less £1.6m transfer fees due, less August 2012 PP paid out. There is also a caveat about deferred wages that are being accrued each month. This is without the payments agreed with the players. £11.7m , this is feeding the 5000 with loaves and fishes parable.
  21. I had one in 2007. I think I was back on my feet the same day, overnight in hospital, no crutches. Because I was a pilot I was given three weeks before flying and was cleared by the surgeon contacting the CAA examiner. I had a realignment of the knee, the patella trimmed where it was catching, a cleanout etc. Just two small holes, hardly visible. I think I was back playing golf within a couple of weeks and didn't miss a game at SMS. It certainly made a significant improvement, not perfect but comfortable without pain.
  22. I think if a club is due PPs and is liquidated anything outstanding is divided between the clubs.
  23. I've just had a look at the April 2012 PKF statement and they estimated they still had £14m due less c.£5m in outstanding football creditors plus a further £1.6m in future transfer payments, a note also stated that deferred salaries etc were adding up. Add to that the payment made in Aug 2012 and there can't be a lot left. That doesn't include the £8m+ contract terminations and Kanu. Looks pretty dire to me. Didn't they also get an advance on the PPs before the 2009/10 season ended to keep them from going bust in season.
  24. I'm not arguing because I don't know, but the last figures given I think showed only about £8m, if that, left outstanding. Your way there would be £12m outstanding.
  25. I'm pretty sure Feb is penultimate and Aug is the last. That is if there is any payment at all, because of the £8m+ football creditors still outstanding.
