All I said was I thought Lowe liked the job he was doing in football. In the last 12 years he has made no move to move aside, or to bring in influential investment. That as I said, gives me the suspicion/impression he wants to stay. In addition, I suggest you don't try and read something or see hidden agendas in simple statements. I'm not argueing any particular case. I don't like Lowe's public image that much, I hate the way we have declined, but I started in Div 3S, and enjoyed it, hence I have no problem with the rollercoaster that is football. I am supportive in the circumstances, of the clubs present strategy. In any event whether we support it or not, it is happening. It may end in failure, then so do a lot of theories. It could also be the best thing that happened to the club for it's long term future.

Quite a few gave the ball away last night, not just James. I would play Cork at right back, however James didn't get any help, often isolated one on one. I like the football we are trying to play and understand our predicament. I pay for two seats and see over 30 matches a season. I much prefer this team to last years.

What he needed was help from in front, allowing him to drop inside, and the rest of the back four close up diagonally on the cover behind him., with the rest of the team dropping back to fill the middle. I lost count of the number of times he was defending against runners with no other Saints player within 20 to 30 yds.

I think the team management, do not want the team spirit damaged by unhappy players. I understand Surman plays at left back because he realises there aren't many options for that position. Prefers midfield but doing it for the club. He is doing his best and unproductive moaning won't change things. I think it would be better to forget about Skacel altogether, until the club indicate they are going to include him.
