  4. And your sh*gged out mouse.
  5. The frequency with which potential buyers speak out seems to be in inverse proportion to the credibilty of their bids.
  6. Eight = ffs get on with it!
  7. I agree there is an overlap in the interests of club and creditors. However, it seems to me it depends on how any deal is structured. If I were a creditor, especially a small creditor, I'd probably want certainty and go for the deal that paid the most cash up front but I can see that the likes of Aviva might be interested in some deferred payments giving them a greater return overall than if they took all payment up front. It's also possible that some creditors could take their payment and never supply the club again (understandable) or the club could have felxibily to go with different suppliers in future.
  8. Relegation, Administration and -10 points.
  9. I'm glad you mentioned this one because I thought I'd dreamt it. I bunked off school as well. The Dell was suprisingly full for a Wednesday afternoon as I remember. Was it the miners strike or the 3 day week or whatever? It's all a bit hazy now. Do you remember the score?
  10. Upper Terrace Wembley Stadium, 83rd minute, 1 May 1976. Bobby Stokes RIP.
  11. So why was Fialka stuck in front of the cameras?
  12. Very funny Yorkie. With a sense of humour like that we should have a whip round so you can post more often.
  13. I'd appreciate a bit more of what you know please - genuine request.
  14. I think it's fairly clear. He's saying the issue for Pinnacle is the right of appeal.
  15. We need the league to grant the golden share, that's clear, but I'm not aware that the league has threatened demotion to lower leagues if we don't waive the right to appeal, though that may implied by precedent. It's the bits in between that hover around as you put it that make it difficult to draw any firm conclusions here because all we can do is look at precedent set in similar but not identical cases. We don't know all the facts.
  16. I don't follow your logic here. Saints are not in a position to trade the right of appeal for any of these things even if they wanted to because the punishment applied by the league (rightly or wrongly under league rules) is the 10 point deduction and not demotion to the non league etc. The right of appeal has been removed.
  17. Brass ones? Lord Smallwilly's got a brass neck anyway.
  18. Similar on Echo website.
  19. Keegan + money to spend. Very happy with that.
  20. The club and the Council have big plans for 2018 on the back of new investment which could explain Richards involvement. Watch them come crashing down if these investors prove to be charlatans. Then step forward SFC.
  21. While in nostalgia mode...my abiding memory of David Armstrong is when walking over to take a corner he gets the inevitable "baldy" chants from opposition supporters, he stops, bends his knees, peers into an imaginary mirror and theatrically combs and smoothes his non existent hair before taking a corner (from which I'd like to say we scored).
  22. Probably apocryphal but I'm prepared to believe anything positive about Saints....and he signed, that's a fact.
  23. I'd given up reading the OS but I really enjoyed reading this and hope we get more of the same. It would be hard to convey to younger Saints fans the magnitude of Saints signing the top player in Europe. I remember before the news broke LmcM opened a fete in Netley and my dad came back and said LMcM had made some cryptic comment about signing KK. We didn't take it seriously at the time but low and behold he signed him up a short time later. If we have some money behind us next season I really would love to see him back as manager.
  24. Oh no, it's old Bo*lock Chops of Sandbanks.
