Jeez. We're not playing well but we're getting nothing at all from the officials.
-
How was that only a yellow?!
-
Looked better today. Always notoriously difficult to read much into preseason times. That said, does look like Williams and Ferrari have taken significant steps forwards since last season.
-
Lambert for me. You look at teams like Leeds that are still struggling to get back, I'm not sure we'd be back in the Premier League yet without him.

So where are all their major trophies then? That club hasn't even existed for ten years yet.
-
Jeez, this one isn't going to get easier... Bare minimum it's a year before we get a chance to put this right. Realistically it could take a lot longer. Feels like we HAVE to keep hold of this team, at least for the next couple of seasons. In VvD and Gabbiadini, we've put absolutely top class players in two of the most difficult positions to fill, we've put together the core of something that might just go on and do something REALLY special.
-
Aye, scarves instead of that **** poor mosaic effort the Mancs had was a good decision by the club.
-
Mixture of complete pride in our performance, gutted that we didn't get the luck we deserved, and utterly seething at the incompetent **** lino that has probably ultimately cost us the cup.
-
Well... ****.

There's absolutely no way that Man Utd are anywhere near as up for this as we are. I'm actually feeling strangely confident going into this.
-
Never mind him I'm looking forward to his meltdown after the match, complaining that referees are 'afraid' again. Once again in this cup run, we don't go in as favourites, and once again, we WILL have a chance. With just a little bit of luck, we might just take it.

2017 cars being revealed over the course of this week. Looks like this year's tech specs are producing the best looking cars in years, the lower wider rear wings make a huge difference in my book. Sauber. Not a particular fan of the vertical fin on the top at the rear, but other than that I like it. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/39027078 Force India. What's with that nose step? Renault. Decent but with that vertical fin. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/39042537 Mercedes. Looks to be a work of art this year, my favourite so far. Have to wonder if they're missing out with the smaller streamlined fin, but can imagine it's easy to retrofit if there's a benefit to be had there. McLaren. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/39075183 Ferrari. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula-one/39075277 Red Bull. http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/39095683 Torro Rosso. http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/39097052 Haas. http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/39097043

Yep, can get the ticket in the same transaction too.
-
Gotta admit, having been shafted by the queueing system when the last batch of season ticket holder tickets went on sale, and being stuck up in the top tier, seeing those seats available now to the people that have been to two home games stings a bit.
-
Huh, you're right of course. Guess this is how people that get the Man Utd grey kit/6-3 games mixed up feel! In any case, The sash kit is still the one to go with this time I reckon
-
Agreed. Can't get the white kit, the Sash kit is the closest one I have, and we won at Wembley the last time I was there wearing it too
-
See how much better you can be at trolling when you really put your mind to it? Implying that your own opinion us the balanced one in comparison to everyone else in particular is a classic. As is implying that the way other people react to sport is somehow inferior to yours. Chuck in a couple of insults at the manager/players, and mention Spurs coming in for our players and you're managing to push a lot of buttons there.
-
I genuinely can't tell if that's a terrible attempt at trolling or satire Saints win 4-0, our new striker looks like a star, our next match is at Wembley, and England have just won a genuinely fantastic game against Wales in the 6 Nations Rugby. This weekend is one of those where you remember why you like sport

Saints Reserves v Arsenal Reserves - FA Cup Match Thread
Jimmy_D replied to St Chalet's topic in The Saints
Have to admit, I hope the players are able to motivate themselves better for this than I'm able to motivate myself. Does feel a little flat after the unrelenting tension of the Liverpool game. -
Keep a clean sheet and we'll have a defensive record that will never, EVER be broken.
