How Lovren managed to make that £8M look well worth it for us is the one that's got me puzzled. Liverpool seem to have well and truly destroyed any confidence he once had.

I'm looking at his record with Everton since the summer, without Lukaku he's not been able to find the tactics to get the best out of the attacking players he has left. I don't think he'd be such a good fit for us at the moment.

He really would have been far better off if he'd stayed here.

Controlled the game throughout, restricted West Brom to scraps, but for a while there it looked like they were going to get the 0-0 draw they came here for. Then that was blown apart by quite simply a sensational goal. Close to a perfect individual goal.
