    Help Needed

Early Le Tissier this forum found a while ago.
  2. I don't want them to go up, but that's just because it miiiight give us an outside chance of re-signing Surman. (Not likely I know, but still...)
  3. Newcastle... that 3-3 has already been mentioned. Don't forget we had nothing to play for that day and Blayney kept out a point blank header from Shearer with a miracle save that day... That game had no right to be as good as it was Also Dellhurst Park... speaks for itself. Liverpool: 'Not even Saints fear to tread in Anfield anymore' when we beat them on Sky... that was the start of their decline. Leeds: it was our game that all but relegated them to league one (technically not mathematically tho).
  4. If Sholing do get promoted, they'll be one of the teams you can use for the Football Manager dafuge's challenge... (Go on holiday for a year, and start on automatic reputation with one of the teams promoted to the Blue Square North/South) You used to be able to save just before the promoted teams were decided at the end of the season, and keep reloading, not sure if that still applies.
  5. Bloomin' 'eck, you make Alpine look optimistic...
  6. Good solid win, didn't ever feel like we were under any great threat, and the biggest worry was that it'd be one of those days and we'd draw. What was the lino opposite the tunnel on? Gave one offside against 'pool in the first half from a throw in, missed a couple that were off by a mile, gave offside a few times when it was clearly on, clearly wasn't biased as he was equally crap for both sides, but he just couldn't do the job.
  7. Pefect result from our point of view. Means they have to beat Huddersfield if they want 100 points.
  8. Looks like we're going to need three wins because there's no way Brighton will beat Huddersfield playing like they are atm...
  9. Good start from Jones for our bowling as well... Looking promising for today at least.
  10. We should probably thank Pompey for the training they've given us. The poor supporters of Brighton and Bournemouth never really stood a chance against us with our vast experience of real banter...
  11. epicaricacy Still, I reckon the SCC thing is obviously because we're the only club on the south coast actually worth mentioning.
  12. This. The whole sentence is about Brighton in general, I was saying that Brighton would probably lose even though they've got all that still to play for.
  13. Huddersfield the only team left that can do the double over Brighton this season, as well as still being able to get 100 points, and it being the last home game... They'll probably lose 2-1. Their results don't matter though, we just need to concentrate on our own results and there's nothing anyone else can do.
  14. So they think that we were lucky to win today and were by far NOT the best team they've faced this season? Does that mean it was just luck that gave them their unbeaten run up til now? You can certainly infer that... so you can also infer that, in fact, from what they're saying, they didn't deserve to win the title...
  15. He just HAS played a major role for us
  16. So, now we've taken 4 points off of them, and got more players in the team of the year, does that mean we win under the AV system?
  17. What a win over the sea vermin! And just to complete the day Pompey now can't mathematically make the playoffs
  18. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss!
  19. We are gonna score today... just gotta keep trying and one of these chances will be taken...
  20. Thought that was in...
  21. Sounding like we're going to get chances today.... With a bit of luck we'll be able to take them.
  22. Here we go!
  23. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/13103055.stm Chamberlain only a doubt according to BBC... In line for a return before the end of the season?
  24. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/13103055.stm Poyet's attempt at mind games They really do seem to think that because their highest position for a decade coincides with our lowest position for half a century to leave them ONE (yes, one) place above us, we should be bowing down to them and accepting them as superior... It really is laughable, it'd be like Man City trying to claim they're now bigger than Man Utd because they beat them in the FA Cup semi final... Come back when we've spent more than 0.8% of our history below you and you might have earned some grudging respect...
  25. Yeah, we thought St Mary's meant we had the infrastructure and income to support top 10 Prem football...
