Just realised we ended another drought almost without realising it. That was our first win over a Guardiola team.

Finishing above both Spurs and Everton would make this an incredible season!

The result helps of course, but that felt like the first game since the restart that was a proper contest with both teams properly going for it. Really enjoyed watching it 😊

At this rate West Ham will stay up with 27 28 points.

With our away form this season, if our home form was even half decent we'd be comfortably chasing the European spots.

If we get Dragonoak to do another blessing on St Mary's and sort out our home form we might just have a chance.

I fear mine are pretty unrealistic. Norwich to stage a miraculous recovery and sent Villa, West Ham, and Bournemouth down. Preferably with Saints game against Bournemouth being the one to actually send them down. Brentford and anyone apart from Leeds to get promoted.

The really good thing about that is that it shows he doesn't have a mental block in trusting his leg again as well. That alone is utterly incredible considering what he's been through. I wonder if his bet with Salah is running again this season over which one will score more? It'd be an amazing achievement if Ings gets the Golden Boot, even more so without taking any penalties.

That’d mean 3 out of 4 teams at the bottom going from an average of less than a point a game so far this season, to more than 1.5 points a game for the rest of the season. And that’s if Saints don’t pick up a single point for the rest of the season.

Villa really needed more than that before their next two games. Can see them being adrift before they’ve got a realistic chance of any more points.

We might complain about Saints’ recruitment, but Villa really have set the bar for wasting money in the transfer window.

It's ridiculous that we're as safe as we are with that home record. This has to have been the worst possible season to have a season ticket.

Guh. Not a good performance but we've played worse than that against better teams and got better results.
