Kelso 2.20 Winter Alchemy ew @ 8/1. Half-brother to bumper/2m hurdle winner Johnny Mullen. Encouraging debut in bumper here last month and should have learnt plenty from that. Very competitive race though with several you could make a case for, Bishops Heir the likely favourite should run well.
Kelso 3.20 Soldiers Tree ew @ 16/1 with WH, 12/1 generally. Irish point winner in 2009 and signs of ability in 3m novice hurdle at Newcastle in January, travelling comfortably and not given hard time. Likely to do better. Just checked Hugh Taylor and this is one of his for today so that is a positive.
