    Harlesden

Alperton certainly has a large Asian poulation but I have to say I've been there many times without any trouble or any hint thereof. Harlseden is a totally different kettle of fish, probably the scariest place I've been too.
  2. Don't waste your time asking ! Even if there is an answer it'll not be worth knowing.
  3. marathon
  4. http://www.london2012.com/games/venues/index.php Yes, certainly the 100/200 metres and probably other Athletic events if GB have gold medal hopes and there are a few at least! But Beach Volleyball will be the big earner, guaranteed! Oh, maybe smimming or cycling, we usually do well in those.
  5. u wat ?
  6. How about : - Please no more threads on this very trivial point !
  7. TBH when I lived in Southampton the train was invariably the last resort, remember going to Brighton in the late 70's on a football "special". No lights, no ( working ) loos, a complete wreck of a train. Coach trips were always my preferred mode of travel though car/minibus was fine too. Cannot recall ever turning up late for a game.
  8. Lol, if at 1st you don't suceed, FAIL, FAIL then FAIL again !

  11. Good link but seriously who would be interested in Beach Volleyball !?? Also, how many cycling events do you need ?
  12. All odds and sods on Youtube, you can see the celebrations and the goals by RL and Antonio but all in seperate clips.
  13. I think that you and saintkip should seriously think of either joining Gamblers Anonymous or setting up your own TSW gambling support group !
  14. Sod's law at it's best !

  19. Which tends to confirm my belief that he'll be here next season at least He would have known promotion was a long shot but a trip to Wembley no matter what trophy it is still is a big occasion for players at this level. Nice that he says : "I can't praise my teammates anymore than I already have, because if it wasn't for them I wouldn't be able to get as many goals as I have." Seems like a very realistic, well grounded player.
  20. Really, who cares :smt102
  21. Yes, the officials deserve credit where it's due, I agree with what I believe is the general concensus that it was good the ref didn't send the Carlisle player off for deliberate handball. I'd hazard a guess most PL refs would have sent him off and with relish and a flourish ! Oh and I imagine the officials in a cup Final would receive medals !!
