Oh, AND we're not on TMS !!!
-
No, took me ages trying to figure out what the hell they were doing at Lords speaking to "Bumble" !!!
-
LOL Frightening is the word I would use !!
-
Yes, the club deserve to be punished but I'm not sure what the player could do especially on the spur of the moment though the fact he apparently "winked" as he left the field was not especially bright if true!
-
Lol, well it seems to me you have to try really hard before eventually getting banned on here so I think I can safely assume nutjob is a euphemism for many worse terms
-
I hear the player's balcony is a good place TBH
-
Well trust you to mention him in the 1st place
-
Were you at Bradford in 1976 ? Leeds fans were allowed to buy tickets on the day as Saints did not sell their full allocation ( mainly as some fans did not go due to a massive hike in ticket prices) which was a disgrace. There was a steady stream of objects including full Party 4 cans, one hit my mate flush on the head, he barely felt it !

Lords isn't that far from Baker St/Marelybone ( Bakerloo line) or even Swiss Cottage ( Jubilee Line) so suggest you get the tube there. The No 13 bus takes you from SC to Lords in about 10 mins and also serves Baker Street if you are coming from that direction- also about 10 mins. http://www.londonbusroutes.net/times/013N013.htm

O.B ? I stayed well away I assure you
-
Lol, whatever happened to him
-
Possibly the most stupid comment of all time !! As they say everyone is entitled to their opinion, just that yours is ridiculous.
-
Yes, I heard that. Very sad for all his family including his Dad the great John Surtees. RIP

Carl Fogarty- 4 WSB championships 1994,95,98 and 99. And whilst on motor sport one has to mention Nigel Mansell who is the only person in history to hold both the F1 and US CART titles simultaneously, and was the first person to win the CART title in his debut season. -
Frank Worthington did not score many for us but played a massive part in our excellent 83/84 season and I believe he was involved in the goal Danny Wallace scored v Liverpool at the Dell.
-
Yes, I would have thought that other than for it being slap bang between two Ashes matches. Oh well, we will still win !
-
Commentators curse !

Ah here it is, aquote from Tony Middleton : "We had no Malcolm Marshall, and we were due to play Surrey in the four days leading up to the final, although it ended in two - and Mark Nicholas had his finger broken by Waqar Younis."
-
That's a very good question. Gower was captain so I can only assume he was injured as he captained us in 1988 and 1992.
-
ah, this was the '91 final: http://static.cricinfo.com/db/ARCHIVE/1991/ENG_LOCAL/NWT/HANTS_SURREY_NWT-FINAL_07SEP1991.html

Ah, very close. Aqib Javed.

I know, I'm nosey and checked your profile -
It was such an easy win in 1988, over by about 4pm if I recall after Steven Jeffries ( spelling ?) demolished Derby and I'm sure he was only with us as Malcolm Marshall was with the West Indies as I think he was in 1991. I seem to recall his only one day final was v Kent in '92 when his bowling won us the match on the 2nd day after a lot of rain. Did we not have a Pakistani pace bowler in the 1991 team as a replacement for Marshall ?

Not likely Prior will be released between tests.

Some time last season? 20/20 match v Middx but I'm guessing.
